Niall's POV:

We arrived at the hospital in a limo. Really normal. No one would notice. I just hoped One Direction fans didn't hang out in hospitals.

"She's on the third floor," Paul said, leading us form the limo and accompanying us up the stairs and towards her room.

I walked quickly, worried that at any second I would lose her, without ever even getting to say hello.

"I'll wait outside the door," Paul whispered. "You two go in. The nurses should be inside now, fixing her IV."

I crept inside, and indeed two female nurses were playing with her wire, taking her pulse and fixing her IV.

She looked so beautiful, yet so small and frail. I walked forward.

"I'm Niall Horan, and this is Harry Styles," I said unnecessarily. "We're friends of... Scarlette's."

"So her name is Scarlette," said the older of the two nurses, a busty African American woman, with a heavy New York accent. She looked rather strict. The other nurse was obviously a fan, because her pale skin was turning beet red.

"Larrisa," snorted the busty nurse. "Stop ogling. Let's go. If you boys have any information on how to contact her parents, please share it with us after your visit. Don't touch her wires," the nurse added, narrowing her heavily lined eyes.

I felt myself nodding alongside Harry like we were in first grade.

"I need to hit the loo," Harry said, walking out of the room. "You have fun."

I turned to look down at her pale, still face. Her lips were beautiful. I felt the strong urge to lean down and kiss her. Right then, right there.

I was probably going to mess up her wires, and the busty nurse would probably throw me out the window.

Well what did I have to lose?
