Chapter 4
Zayns POV:
I felt bad for her. I was pretty sure her ankle was broken judging by the size it had swollen to. And I could tell she still hated me over what had happened a few years back.
That was why I hadn't ignored her after moving here. I needed to make things right. If only she would give me the chance. She had gotten prettier since I had seen her.
Grew into everything you know. She still had those killer eyes. And that icy glare that made everyone sure she wasnt pleased. Too bad it was aimed at me now.
See we had dated awhile back. Both of us young and stupid. Me.....I had anger issues. I guess you can assume what happened. I had taken my anger out on her.
Well that went on for a few monthes. Finally her family moved away. Before I had the chance to make things right. Now I had changed. I could control my anger. I would never hurt her again.
I was here to win her back. I would stop at nothing.
Megan's POV:
He turned to me finally. "I guess I should take you to the doctor." He said, moving forward. Before he could lift me again, I shoved him backwards. I didnt want him to touch me.
He toppled backward, and I cringed when he sat up. He stared at me. "Don't touch me." I ordered harshly. He just remained on the groun staring at me with a blank expression.
"Megan. You can't walk." He said finally. "Watch me." I spat with that sass I had always had. Ignoring the throbbing of my ankle, I swung my legs off the bench.
The second I put weight on it, searing pain shot through my whole body. My already injured head coming close to smacking the ground again.
"See!" Pointed out Zayn, getting to his feet. I quickly shot up to a sitting postition. "Whatever!" I yelled, crawling backwards. "Megan let me help you." He said, following me.
"I don't want you anywhere near me. Ever." I yelled. "Megan." He said. "What?" I asked. "I won't hurt you. I love you. I always have and I always will." He said sincerely.
I snorted. "What?" He asked, sounding offended. "You ha a funny way of showing me you loved me. You expect me to go back to that! I have an amazing boyfriend now."
This time he snorted. "That turd. Hes not so amazing." "Oh and why's that?" I asked. He pulled out his phone. After scrolling through it a moment, he handed it to me.
