“Damn it, Connor! What are you doing here?”, Harry asked. I could imagine how we would have looked then. Barely dressed, Harry just wore his boxers, and me with red eyes.

“Taylor is pregnant and you both knew! Don`t you think that I should as well? I should have been the first one!”, he yelled at us. He looked pissed and angry and he really scared me.

“Connor, calm down. I wanted to tell you...”, Harry tried to settle him down.

“I give a fuck on you wanted, Harry! You two pretend to be my friends, but you think it`s okay not to tell me something, that will change my life completely!”, he shouted.

“Not just yours, Connor. Taylors` is about to change as well”, I said and it was like my words where whispered after his screaming.

“Oh great! But at least she knows that it will! But she could have slept with any manwhore...”, he continued.

“Don`t you dare to say that!”, I accused him. Who does he thought he is, to suppose Taylor like this?

“Don`t tell me what I have to think, Clary!”, he stepped closer and I freezed.

“Hey”, Harry said defending and pushed him back.

“Harry, not even you...”, he uttered and I saw that he was upset and hurt.

“Dude, I just found out minutes ago. Stop acting like a psychopath and listen for some seconds.” His voice was angry and he spat the words at him. Connor finally breathed out and I saw that he was trying to calm down.

“Oh my god”, he let out after some seconds. Harry hugged him and Connor looked so vulnerable then, that I looked away and pulled my shirt over.

“How could this only happen? I mean, probably it`s just a false alarm”, he mumbled.

“I`m sorry, but you can be sure”, I said quietly and stood up to walk to Harrys` side. He pulled his arm around me and pulled me closer.

“But we always used a condom...”, Connor said, trying to find an explanation.

“The weekend in Manchester...new lingerie...”, I tried to remind him. Connor sighed frustrated and grumbled.

“Damn it!” Harry punched his arm. “I can`t believe you didn`t stopped!”, he said accusing.

“I was distracted, man! There were other thoughts on my mind that night”, he tried to defend himself, but we all knew that he had no excuse.

“What did she said to you?”, he suddenly asked me. I sat down next him and told him. About the throw-up on the toilet and the pregnancy tests. I explained Taylors` swelling and the words her mother had used to make her feel bad.

“So she wants to get it?”, Connor questioned.

“She wasn`t sure, but she has to decide really soon”, I reminded him of the dead line. Connor took the information without a reaction.

“I have to talk to her”, was all he said.

“I take you”, Harry offered and I suddenly realized that he still was there. “You should come as well”, he adressed me. I grabbed my shoes and I followed bot of them down the stairs.

“Clary?”, I looked up into Annes` eyes. Screw it!

“Oh, good evening”, I said and I felt my cheeks blushing.

“What are you doing here? I didn`t heard you coming at all.”

“Uhmmm...”, I stumpled.

“She came with Connor”, Harry helped me out. Anne glanced at him, but left it with that. I quickly left the house and was thankful to jump into Harrys` car.

(SOME TIME LATER)

“What do you think they will do?”, I asked while I was eating my pizza.

Harry stared over at the table, where Taylor and Connor sat and talked. He raised his eyebrows.

“Not sure what neither of them wants to do with the situation.” They had talked for over 30 minutes now, but I was happy that they both didn`t punched or try to kill each other yet.

“What would you do, when you were in Connors` skin right now?”, I questioned him and his eyes turned back to our table. He starred in my eyes.

“I wouldn`t let you give away my baby”, he answered intensive. I blushed since he was talking about me and him, but I was shocked about his clear opinion as well.

“But the baby could have a better and more secure home somewhere else”, I objected.

“You asked for my decision and I couldn`t give it away, that`s all. It doesn`t mean I want Connor and Taylor to keep the baby.” I nodded to show my acceptance.

“I`m sorry, I hadn`t told you earlier. I wanted too so badly, but I had to promise Taylor”, I apologized to him. Harry took my hands over the table.

“I already told you: If you feel like speaking to me I`ll listen. It`s your choice, Clary.” I bit my lip and starred at our interlocked fingers.

“I love you, you know that?”, I asked. He smiled at me and made my heart beats faster with that.

“That`s good because I love you too.”

(SOME MORE TIME LATER)

“See you tomorrow?”, Harry looked at me with pleasing eyes. Neither of us wanted to sleep alone, but after all the trouble we had decided to sleep in our own beds.

“I already miss you”, I answered and sounded like a little kid, who didn`t get what it wanted. All I wanted was Harry. His arms around me and his steady heartbeat as a rhythm to fall asleep too.

“There are only 8 hours of sleep left before we see each other again”, he told me, but I could tell that he was only saying that to make me feel better.

“Have a good night” and with these words he kissed me on my forehead and I walked up the stairs to our front door. I turned one more time and smiled at him. He grinned back.

“Hey”, I yelled as I got out of my shoes. “Planes changed and we finished our presentation earlier”, I continued. My Mum came out of the kitchen and the second I saw her face, I knew something was wrong.


Her face meant trouble.
