Song for the chapter: Miley Cyrus - Adore you

I refused to answer Harrys` text messages last night since I was clearly to mixed up after the big news over the pregnancy. I tried to look at the situation in a positive way, see something great about it, but I have to admit that it was pretty hard.

We were only older kids as well, not even grown-ups yet, just trying to make the best out of all this mess, we call life. How was Taylor supposed to take care of another life, when her own was that complicated itself since she wasn`t even in a real relationship.

Her Mum doesn`t even know that she was having sex with Connor and now she had to tell her about the pregnancy news.

“You can`t tell Harry”, she uttered as I was about to leave the car and head inside my house.

“What?”, I could feel my face shut down.

“He`ll tell Connor and that would just make the situation worse than it already is. You have to promise, Clary!” I sighed, but I agreed.

I already laid in my bed as I got some text messages:

Harry: Ur alright? U wanted to call me

Harry: U forgot to load ur phone! Don`t u? :D

Harry: Whatever, just call me as soon as U read this. I love U

He made it really hard for me not to answer, but I hold my promise and I didn`t texted back, even though I wanted to tell him that I love him too. Ugh, lies suck so much.

(THE NEXT MORNING)

My night was bad since I couldn`t sleep with too many thoughts on my mind and without Harrys` warm body not next to mine.

“You look like shit”, my Mum said as I got into the kitchen the next morning.

Hard, but true. I hugged her tight and breathed out.

“Hey, what is that for?”, she asked softly.

“Nothing for, just wanted to say I love you Mummy”, I whispered and enjoyed the moment of being nothing more than a daughter. A kid.

“I love you too, darling”, she replied and I could feel her smile.

After I had my coffee and some breakfast I headed out to school. But I wasn`t prepared for Harry, waiting in front of it.

“Hey stranger”, he said and I nearly fell down the stairs since I missed a step in surprise. He caught me before I could fall.

“You`re okay?”, he asked and pulled me in a hug.

“I am, thank you”, I replied.

“What`s wrong with your phone?”, he started, but I made him shut up with crushing my lips into his. I started a steamy make-out session in front of the entire school, but hey?

At least I hadn`t had to talk about his missed texts that way. Seemed more than okay for me.

(SOME TIME LATER)

“Do you think she already told him?”, Simon asked as we went our way to the lunch bench.

“If it wouldn`t be Taylor I would say yes”, I answered him.

“I know it shouldn`t, but I am really excited”, Simon admitted and he had me laugh.

“Simon you are excited about everything”, I smiled.

“Oh, darling you are so right with that!” I was so happy that Simon was in this as well, since he seemed to be so positive about the whole situation. I hooked in his arm and we continued our walk.

I wasn`t surprised to only see Harry wait at our table.

“Hey”, I said hugging his torso from behind.

“Hey, beautiful”, he replied and turned his head to kiss me. We sat down on the table as well and I pulled out my lunch. Harry took my hand into his and pulled me closer to him.

“Hey, is something wrong with your phone?”, he asked suddenly. I opened my eyes in surprise and felt caught.

“Ehmm...”, I mumbled.

“I texted you last night and I have to admit that I got a little bit worried as you didn`t answered”, Harry said and I made a happy noise. He was worried about me, that was so cute.

“It just had no power”, I lied and felt guilty the same moment the words had left my mouth. I hated lying to him and I had the urge to tell him everything.

We looked up as we saw Taylor and Connor getting to us. I tried to figure out how the situation was, but Connor laughed and waved us welcome.

That reaction made me raise my eyebrows and Simon gave me the same look. She clearly didn`t told him, but as she got nearer I could see her face twisted into an unhappy mask.

“Hey”, she said and I stood up to hug her. I realized the red and light blue swelling under her eye.

“Damn it, what happened to your face?”, I asked shocked.
