“What is your favourite dish?”, I asked Harry, while he was holding me warm with his arm around my shoulder.
“Huh?”, he seemed to be in deep thoughts.
“Your favourite food? My Mum is going crazy about this”, I said.
He looked down to me and smiled.
“I love Tacos”, he answered.
“Tacos? I`m not sure, if my Mum can do something like this!”, I laughed, expecting an answer like pizza or hamburgers.
“I would even eat them, when they were burned just to act like a good guy”, he said and I kissed him for saying that.
“They are crazy. You can still say no”, I breathed near his lips. He acted like he really have to think about this.
“Well, if you say it like that...” I punched his shoulder with the power of the hulk. Harry laughed over my sad try.
“That was not really an offer”, I laughed, “now you are in and can`t get out.” Harry pulled me closer and I squeezed in protest.
“I would never think about skipping this appointment for a lifetime”, he said confusing me with his hands on mine naked part of skin over my jeans. He slowly pulled the shirt up a little bit more.
“So the time`s still 8pm?”, I asked, clearly losing the notion what we were even talking about.
“8pm. At your house. Dressed suitable. With an empty stomach”, he agreed.
“Sounds...”, but he didn`t let me talk the rest of the sentence since he was pushing his lips on mine.
And really? I didn`t knew what we were talking about before and more important I really didn`t cared any more.
(IN THE EVENING)
“What was his name again?”, my sister asked bored.
“Oh, don`t act like you don`t care. I heard you skype with your friend before and you said you were excited to get to know him!”, I said. We were all in the kitchen, setting the table for the dinner with Harry.
“His name was Henry?”, my stepfather tried.
“Harry! Please remember when he arrives!”, I whined. I was already panicky about his arrival, since my family didn`t seemed to be willed to act like normal human.
“Harry, like prince Harry?”, my sister asked. “Does he has red hair as well?”
“He has brown hair and please don`t face him with that fact!”, I begged. This will be a total disaster!
“We have to make sure, he stays with Clary! This is like a once in a lifetime opportunity for her”, my Mum said while checking on the Tacos she made.
“Mum!”, I said hurt.
“What? I am just trying to make sure, you won`t end up with 10 cats in a small flat.”
I sighed deeply. Great, even my Mum thought that I was a lost case. I pulled out my mobile phone, warning Harry of my family again.
“When did he wanted to arrive again?”, my stepfather asked.
“He said he`ll be here at 8pm”, I answered, looking at the clock.
8:20 Something probably crossed his way.
9:10 I got worried since I texted Harry like five times by now. We already started eating since my Mum said the Tacos would taste horrible as soon as they would be cold. “He dumped her”, my sister said after some time. “Maddy!”, my Mum reproved her.
Was she right? Did Harry really dumped me? He promised he would come, he is not anywhere near to be a coward.
9:12 I called him. Voicemal. “Hey, it is me. Where are you? My Mum made Tacos and they are not even burned!”
9:15 “Harry. I know I said my family is crazy, but that wasn`t a reason to scare you off.”
9:18“Damn it, Harry! Did you really dumped me? Call me, please.”
9:19 My phone rang.
“Harry?”, I asked angry. There was a pause at the other end.
“No, Clary it`s me.”
Taylor?
“I am so sorry...”
What the hell?
“Connor just called me...”
No.
"Harry was on his way to your house...”
No. No.
“He were standing at a flashing light...”
No, please God no.
“Clary, Harry had an accident.”
