Song for the chapter: Paramore - I caught myself

I did not wanted him to leave. I wanted to stay in bed with him the whole night and just listen to his heartbeat.

But reality did not let us. My parents were about to come home, so Harry had to get up.

I brought him down to the front door. He was holding my hand and I gripped it hard. It was still pouring outside.

“I see you tomorrow”, Harry said and kissed me goodbye.

“Oh you can bet on that”, I said quietly.

“Have a good night.” He turned to the door and got out into the rain. I watched him hurry to his car through the rain and sighed.

I still stood in the door, when he had already left, but I wanted to enjoy this feeling. The rain, the fresh air on my hot cheeks and the happiness. I was happy.

I never expected anything of this to happen when I had arrived in England and I had to smile about how the things finally turned out for me.

(NEXT MORNING)

I felt strange the next day. Like I was a big step closer on my way to become a grown-up.

I never had to lie about something so big to my mum before, but as she asked how my evening was after she came home last night I was not sure, if I should tell her, so I kept it my secret.

I expected Harry to send a text message before school, but my phoned stayed dead for the two first periods. As I got out of the classroom I saw Simon already waiting for me.

He wanted to make sure that nobody was getting to me again on our way to the lunch table. I could not held it in any longer, I really wanted to tell somebody.

“Simon”, I started, “Harry was over at my house last night.” Simon looked at me surprised.

“He was? What happened?”, he asked excited. I had to smile and blushed.

“Oh no! You didn`t!”, he screamed.

“Shhh...”, I tried to calm him down. “But we did.” Simon squeezed.

“How was it? You have to tell me everything about it! He is good, isn`t it? You can tell the way he walks...”, he started bubbling fast.

I had to laugh. “Calm down, Simon. I can just tell you that it was not as horrible as I always thought it will be.”

“Did it hurt? Was it embarrassing?” I did not answered.

“C`mon, Clary! Are you really one of these mean people that have sex, but then act selfish and not share any information with the sad ones of us, who are not?”, he asked dramatically.

I had to laugh again. “Okay, okay. Well, the good thing about it was not really…the actual act. It was more the whole feeling. That I was allowed to trust someone so bad that I was okay with something I was really scared of.”

“Oww! That is so cute! Clary, you are you really into him!”, he said. I shook my head.

“I am not completely into him”, I said, but the moment I said it I was not even sure anymore, if I really wasn`t. We had to end our talk as we arrived at our table.

My heart made a little jump, when I saw that Harry already was there. First I felt strange because I did not know how to act, since he saw me completely naked last night.

We had sex, which was for me one of the biggest things between two people. But as he turned and saw me, he started to smile and this weird feeling disappeared that second.

“Hey”, he said as I stood in front of him.

“Hey”, I answered smiling like an idiot. He took my hand into his and inside I jumped up and down.

Taylor and Connor were already waiting and Taylors` eyebrows raised as she looked at Harry and me.

“What`s up?”, Harry asked as we sat down.

“Guess what”, Talylor said, but did not let us guess since she was going on the next second, “Connor said his parents invited him and some friends over to Manchester this weekend!”

I was happy for her since they both finally had time to spend some time out of Holmes Chapel together.

“When will you be back in town?”, I asked.

“Oh, no”, Connor said, “my parents invited some friends.” Oh, I understood. Some friends meant, that he didn`t just wanted to take Taylor as his girlfriend, but some more people to make it look not so suspicious.

“Connor thought we all could go”, Taylor said, but I felt her being disappointed that he was not willed to take her all along.

“Oh, I am out. I have to babysit all evenings on the weekend”, Simon said frustrated. Taylor looked at me. Her eyes begged me.

“I don`t know”, I said unsure since I was writing my first tests next week and decided to study the whole weekend.

“Harry you will come, won`t you?”, Taylor asked.

“I think I have no shift this weekend, no”, he said and looked at me. He had me that second.

“Well, I think I can manage to study after the weekend”, I said. Taylor squeezed and hugged me.

“It will be fun”, she said and Connor added: “We will leave tomorrow straight after school.”

I felt guilty since I promised my mum to study, but I was really looking forward to spend a whole weekend with Harry.
