Chapter 38
*But our house gets cold when you cut the heating, without you to hold I’ll be freezing*
‘Samii it’s you.’ Harry says nudging me in the ribs.
I groan and fumble my hand around my bedside table until it finally lands on my phone.
‘Urrrrgghhh.’ I groan down the phone.
‘Samii it’s nearly 11am how are you still in bed?’ Niall’s accent sang down the phone at me.
‘Piss off Niall.’
‘Well Grace and I were wondering if you would like to go out to eat tonight. That’s if you’re up by then.’ Niall laughed.
‘Sure.’ I say trying to end the conversation quickly so I can go back to sleep.
‘Ok see you tonight then.’ Niall said before ending the call.
‘Put the phone down or I will throw it out the window.’ Harry mumbles into the cushion next to me.
‘Throw it out the window and you will follow it Styles.’ I say kissing his mop of hair. ‘How are the ribs?’
‘They are feeling really good actually.’ Harry says while stretching and letting out a huge yawn.
‘Good. You might even get lucky tonight after we have dinner with Grace and Niall.’ I wink at Harry.
Harry groans deep in his throat. ‘Can’t we just stay in and have sex all day?’
I laugh at Harry’s advances and deny him by walking off to the bathroom wearing only a pair of panties earning a moan from Harry from the bed.
*Grace's P.O.V*
The nursery is finally coming together as I place the last few stuffed toys into the crib and stand back to admire mine and Niall’s handiwork.
The door bell ringing brings me back to reality and I rush down the corridor to answer it as Niall has gone out for a bit. Before I open it I peak through the peep hole as I’m still paranoid since I was kidnapped.
I was not expecting to see Louis standing the other side of the door patiently waiting for me to open it for him. I started to panic slightly but composed myself before opening the door.
‘Hello Louis.’ I block the whole door frame with my body determined not to let him in.
‘Hi Grace. Just coming to check how my baby is doing.’ Louis smiled an evil smile.
I ignore his comment. ‘What do you want?’
‘How’s the paternity test coming along?’ Louis asks.
‘I told you I can’t have another one for a while as it puts too much stress on the baby.’ I lie.
I can see the anger slowly bubble up in Louis face and it starts to scare me.
‘You have one week to get it sorted or I go straight to Niall.’
Louis turns around and storms off out of the building and I silently close my door and rub my head.
I didn’t want to do it but I knew know I had no choice but too. I walked to the bedroom where my phone was charging and typed in the number and held it next to my head.
‘Hello? Hi this is Miss Grace Watts and I was wondering if I could book in another paternity test? Yea sure. I can bring the samples in the next few hours. Thank you. Bye.’
I hang up and place the phone back down gently before sitting down on the bed. I pray to myself that this time it comes out the way I want it to.
*Samii's P.O.V*
I have enjoyed my day of teasing Harry and shunning any of his advances and I could tell at dinner he was ready to explode and would have happily had sex with me in the middle of the restaurant.
I don’t think our dinner guests Grace and Niall would have appreciated that though. Plus they had news they wanted to share with us so Harry would just have to wait.
‘You two must be wondering why we brought you here.’ Grace smiled excitedly at us.
‘As you two are now getting along so well.’ Niall continued. ‘We would like you two to be godparents to our baby girl.’
‘Of course I will.’ I gushed. ‘Oh wow thank you so much.’
‘I would love to mate.’ Harry said smiling.
‘Good. I actually have another announcement to make tonight.’ Niall said looking at Grace who looked back confused.
Niall suddenly stood and pulled Grace up with him taking her by surprise.
‘Grace Watts.’ Niall started before getting down on one knee. ‘I love you so much and you are about to bless me with the amazing gift of a baby and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.’
Niall reached into his pocket and pulled out a small black velvet box revealing a beautiful ring. ‘Will you marry me?’
Grace mirrored my expression of shock and she looked towards me almost for help and I knew what she was thinking of or more like whom.
Louis.
