You Make it Real {A Harry Styles Fan Fiction}

Chapter 59

*A month later (December)*

PIPER'S P.O.V.

"Andy! Your daddy wants to talk to you!"

I sat on my mom's couch after a long coversation with Harry and waited as I heard Andrea's little feet patter on the hard-wood floor. She soon scurried around the corner and jumped up on my lap, grabbing at the phone enthusiastically. I giggled and put it on speaker-phone.

"Daddy!"

"Hi, baby girl! Are you having fun?"

She was still catching her breath from her excited run across the house.

"Yes! Pipew and momma took me to Disney again the day before today and I met Cindewella!"

"Wow! That's so great! Are you excited to come to New York?"

Andy bounced up and down and I held my arms out in case she fell over.

"Yes! I can't wait!"

"I think we both are!"

I chimed in. The past month had been something like a blessing. Karen had grown fond of my
family quickly and I knew she felt at home within their first week here. They arrived a few days
before Thanksgiving and it was the perfect opportunity for her to get to know everyone. When Harry and I had told my parents about his daughter, they were thrilled at the prospect of having Karen and Andy stay with them.

I had started to really like Karen and we frequently laughed together about our first meeting. Getting to know each other better was all we needed to become close friends. It really made everything easier and even brought Harry and I closer. I knew it killed him that Andrea was so close, yet he was unable to see her. However, I think it comforted him to know she was with me and that she was having the time of her life.

"Well, that makes three of us. Look, I have to go, but I will see you both in a few days. I love you guys!"

"Love you!"

Andy and I spoke in unison, making her giggle as I hung up. I really couldn't wait for our trip. Not only were we attending the charity event from Harry's first gift to me, but Karen was allowing me to take Andy alone, giving her some much-needed alone time at a five-star resort and spa. I was more than thrilled at the prospect of spending a week alone with Andy and Harry. Well, and the other boys. Karen, Riley, my parents and Cory, as well as Harry's family, would meet us after the first week so that we could all spend Christmas together.

"I'm so excited, Pipew!"

"Me, too! You know, you should go help your mommy pack your suitcase!"

She smiled brightly and I shooed her away. I knew Karen wanted as much time with her daughter before we left, since she had never been away from her for such a long time before. When she was safely up the stairs, I joined my mom and Riley in the kitchen.

"Need help with dinner?"

They stood on opposite ends of the room, Riley chopping vegetables and mom stirring something over the stove.

"That's alright, sweetie, I think it's all taken care of."

Mom smiled at me and I sat on a nearby barstool, snacking on some nearby crackers and cheese.

"So, Karen and I are taking you and Andy to the airport on Friday, right?"

"Yeah, I should start packing. Two weeks is a long time and that's a lot to pack for, especially in
the winter."

"Why did I sign up for a holiday semester?"

Riley sighed and winked at me.

"Because, you're graduating! I wish you were coming the whole time, though."

"Yeah, it'll be worth it to be done with school, though."

My mom looked over her shoulder at my best friend.

"I'm so proud of you, hon. You'll be glad you got it out of the way."

I wish I was that close to being done. My last semester wasn't the best, but at least I got through it, unlike when Matt died. I couldn't have done it without Harry, even though part of why I struggled was my constant attempts at seeing him. Either way, I passed all of my classes with A's and B's after cramming for finals. I still couldn't believe I made it, but there was definitely a weight lifted from my shoulders. School wasn't as big of a priority this semester as it should have been. I wish I was in Riley's position. We should have been graduating together, but I had an awful year. I was just glad I picked up when I did.

"Liam is going to pout the whole time I'm there without you. I just know it."

Riley giggled and I could tell she was beginning to daydream. I shook my head and got up to make some hot chocolate. The weather had been really nice since Thanksgiving, which was unusual for our area. It was usually all over the place, hot and cold. It's been constant and beautiful this year, though, and I was so glad.

The only person missing right now, beisdes Harry, was Cory. He didn't want to be around anyone. It upset me quite a bit. He stayed locked away in his room, coming out only to eat a couple times a day. He was losing weight and I could bet money he was cutting again, though I tried to lie to myself. I wished there was a way we could make him happy. He wouldn't even agree to joining us in New York until my parents told him they'd stay in Florida if he didn't go. He didn't want to take that away from them, so he reluctantly gave in. I hoped it was enough to lift his spirits, even if only for Christmas. Even just a genuine smile from him would be comforting at this point.

"Okay, baby, stay with Piper and daddy all the time and never forget your coat."

Karen sat on the floor with Andy on the carpet at the private airport. Since I was flying with Andrea only, it was safer to fly on a jet to avoid as much paparazzi attention as possible. I wasn't exactly sure how that was going to be possible once we were in New York, but Harry told me that rumors circulating said that Andy was my niece. I supposed it was believable since I was taking her on the plane alone, but if someone hears her accent, that helpful rumor will be squashed. I decide not to worry about it too much. Harry knew what he's doing. I hoped.

"Bye, mom. See you guys in a week. Thanks for the ride."

Mom walked over and hugged me tightly, just as she did with every goodbye, whether for a day or a month.

"Love you, Piper. Have a safe flight."

I smiled and kissed her cheek. When I turned around, Karen was standing again, holding Andy in her arms and kissing her cheeks and forehead over and over.

"Love you mummy. See you soon."

"Love you too, sweetheart. Be a good girl."

She put Andrea down and the little girl ran over to hug my mom goodbye next. I approached
Karen and rested my hand on her shoulder. She quickly turned to face me and pulled me into a
hug.

"I'll take care of her. Don't you worry. We'll call as soon as we land. I'll have wifi on the plane as
well, so I'll message you and keep you updated the whole time."

She nodded into my shoulder and sniffed.

"Thank you, Piper. I know she'll be okay with you. I'm just always anxious."

I grinned and pulled away.

"It's understandable."

She hugged me again and stepped back, patting Andy on the top of her head before joining my mom. Andy skipped over to me and I picked her up excitedly, holding an oversized purse over my shoulder, containing my usual items and many things for Andrea. We stepped outside and Andy covered her ears as I walked to the small airplane, guided by the moonlight. The pilot and co-pilot stood at the foot of the steps, already having packed our luggage in the bottom of the plane. I smiled kindly and they welcomed us aboard, allowing me to climb the stairs ahead of them. Once inside, Andy uncovered her ears and I put her down, allowing her to roam the comfortable jet. She jumped around and I set my bag down on a nearby chair as the pilots closed the door behind us.

"Alright, take your seats and we'll be there before you know it!"

I sat down and let Andy climb over me, settling in by the window as I strapped her in. I buckled my own belt and opened the window for her as the plane jolted forward.

"You know, if you take a nap, we'll be there when you wake up!"

"Really?"

She seemed amazed, obviously not grasping the concept of how time passes when you sleep.

"Yeah, you can lay on my shoulder. I'll get your blankie."

I reached over to the next seat and pulled out her small, soft blanket, handing it to her as she
cuddled up next to me.

"Sleep tight, sweetie."

She grinned and closed her eyes as the plane picked up speed. She was out cold before the plane left the ground and I covered her with the blanket more as I pulled my phone out of my pocket.

*TO: Harry
We're off! See ya real soon babe*

I attached a picture of a sleeping Andrea and smiled to myself before relaxing back in my seat.

HARRY'S P.O.V.

I left the hotel as soon as Piper told me they had taken off from Orlando. I knew it would take a couple hours for them to arrive, but I was beside myself with excitement. They left at an odd time, at night, on purpose so that possibly less paparazzi could bombard us. I snuck off and took a blacked out town car, in hopes that no one saw me head off to the airport. They should have been arriving any moment now and I knew Piper fell asleep after texting me because she hadn't responded since. I wasn't worried though, because I had been watching their plane on a little map on my phone, watching the tiny plane cross over states. It seemed like it was moving so slowly, but I kept reminding myself how large states are.

I sat in the backseat impatiently, staring at my phone until a notification popped up.

*FROM: Piper
Touchdown! Stay in the car. We'll be out in a minute.*

I smiled uncontrollably and set my phone down, re-adjusting the carseat next to me for the tenth time, making sure it's tight and steady. I stared out the window and looked around, surprised not to see a thousand people with cameras outside. I suppose no one had seen me sneak away from the hotel.

Finally, the sliding doors opened and Piper walked out, holding my little girl in her arms. Andy was slowly waking up, her eyes fluttering as she laid on Piper's shoulder. The sight almost brought tears to my eyes. They both made me so incredibly happy. A security officer walked in front of her, per my request and the driver got out of the town car, walking around the the door and opening it. I scooted to the middle seat and Piper joined me, Andy still in her arms as the driver closed the door.

Before words could be spoken or anything else could be done, Piper crashed her lips into mine desperately, a few tears rolling down her cheeks and she pulled away as Andrea stirred.

"Daddy!"

She released her tight grip on Piper, who giggled as I pulled my daughter into my arms warmly.

"I'm so glad my girls are here."

Piper rested her head on my shoulder and I wrapped one arm around her, pulling them both into my chest at the same time. I couldn't explain the emotion I felt, even if I tried.
The driver cleared his throat and I looked to the right, seeing flashes of light flood through the car.

"Great. Come on, let's get to the hotel."

I lifted Andy up and buckled her tightly in the car seat. Once I felt comfortable with her being strapped in, I motioned for the driver to move. Camera lights followed behind us, but I was sure they were too late to actually capture anything.
Piper leaned over and kissed my cheek as Andrea watched the scenery out the window.

"I can't wait to get you in bed."

She hissed in my ear and while I felt overwhelmed by everything, that right there sent me over the edge as my already tight pants became more snug.

"Just you wait, love."

She kissed me again, one hand resting on my thigh and the other gripping at my hair. The kiss was needy, but chaste considering our company. I smiled agaisnt her lips as Andy tapped me on the shoulder.

"Daddy! Look at all the lights!"

I whispered softly in Piper's ear before turning my attention to Andrea.

"This will continue shortly."

Piper squeezed my thigh tightly and I winked before looking out Andy's window, following her tiny finger.

"Wow! Aren't those tall buildings?"

"So tall! They're this big!"

She stretches her arms out and Piper giggles as we interact with the over-tired, excited three-year-old.

PIPER'S P.O.V.

We finally arrived at the hotel and made it to the elevator with very few human encounters. Flying at night was a really good idea. Andy was sleeping again and Harry carried her as bellhops gathered our bags from the car and arranged to take them up to the room soon. Once we reached the room, Harry turned to me and spoke softly, so as to not wake Andrea up.

"Key's in my right pocket."

I reached in and grabbed the key card, almost positive that he only asked me to get it so I'd put my hands in his pants. I nudged my hand over to brush against his length which was pushed up tightly against his pants, earning a dramatized moan from him. I giggled and pulled the key out as I pecked him on the cheek. I opened the door and held it for him to walk in so he could find a spot to lay Andrea down. He disappeared into a room to the left, leaving me in the breathtaking entranceway. It was gorgeous, soft blues and gold trim all the way around. Harry returned, closing the door silently behind him, holding Andy's coat in his hand.

"She's out! Didn't even move when I took her coat off."

Before he could say another word, I hurried over to him, rushing into his open arms.

"I missed you so much, Harry."

"I missed you, too. I'm glad you're here."

Something passed over his expression that I couldn't quite place, but it didn't exactly seem like happiness.

"What's wrong?"

I ran my fingers through his disheveled hair and he sighed, leaning down to kiss me softly.

"Nothing is now."

I kissed him again and his feet shuffled backwards, leading me to the bedroom opposite of the one Andy was sleeping in. He opened the door behind him and we gracefull fell into the large, lightly-lit room. I pulled away as he started to tug at my shirt.

"Let me go to the bathroom first. I haven't had the chance since we left because Andy was sleeping on me."

He pecked my lips and let me go, smiling and pulling his shirt off before flopping onto the bed. I giggled and made my way to the bathroom, wanting freshen up a little as well. Planes always make me feel gross. I closed the door and locked it, finding my way to the mirror. I wiped bits of makeup from under my eyes, blotting the area with a tissue. I straightened my hair with my hands the best I could and walked over to the toilet. I pulled my pants off all the way, deciding it was pointless to put them back on. I sat on the seat and looked around the huge bathroom, the bathtub looking inviting. I reached over to grab toilet paper once I was done peeing and my eyes skimmed over the small garbage can next to me. I did a double take and gasped as I realized what I was seeing at the bottom of the waste bin, covered only a little by some tissues.

A used pregnancy test.
