Forever and Always

*** AUTUMN'S P.O.V.***

I find the last thing I had on my list, and turn the cart and head up towards the electronic department. I had promised Niall I would meet up with him there before he took off, and I really didn't want to keep him waiting. I need to make sure that no one notices him or he doesn't do any other stupid things. I would never be forgiven if he did.

I walk along until I reach the isle that had Ipods along the shelves. I stop and pull my cart over to the side, allowing people to still pass through. I hate it when you try to pass down an isle, and someone is right in the middle of the it talking. Then you try to politely ask them to move, and they either get really mad at you or don't hear you. I just don't even know why people do that!

I look around in the space I was in for any sign of him. I see a bunch of people around, but none that even came close to looking like Niall. After searching for a good amount of time, I pull out my phone and scroll through the contacts looking for his name.

Should I send him a text? I really need to know if he's alright, but would that sound like I don't trust him? Well, I don't really right now much, but he is his own person. And besides, he can take care of himself. He has for a while.

Then again, he might have gone off the edge the last few weeks.

I sigh in agreement with myself and quickly send out a text asking where he is. Not like he's even going to reply to me. The whole morning he hasn't even spoken, so that wouldn't be very surprising.

Maybe he just hates me all over again now.

I look down and turn my phone over in my hands waiting for his answer. I look up again and make eye contact with some weird guy. I think he thought I was looking at him, because he smiles back at me. I made a confused look in his direction, before quickly looking back down. What the heck is wrong with people. I can't just simple look around without them thinking I'm staring at them!

Next, my eyes find blue ones that were walking towards me. I feel the tension from the situation go away as soon as I see him, and I sigh with relief. At least hes alright.

"Where have you been?" I asked, slightly irritated at his disappearance.

He places the items he had collected into the cart, trying not to notice my glare on him. He stands up properly and shoves his hands into his pockets, shrugging.

" I couldn't find the toothpaste isle," he said plainly.

" Well, you could have at least sent me a message telling me that! I thought one of your crazy fans abducted you!"

"I'm sorry," He mumbles, clearly not wanting to argue any farther.

My stern glare then turns confused when he does this. Here stands Niall, my enemy since we first met and always irritating the shit out of me, backing away from an argument. He always stood up for himself! Never once does he back down like this!

My tone then turns soft as I look at him.

" What's wrong? You've been distant this whole morning... you even just gave up a perfect opportunity for an argument," I joke lightly.

"I dunno, just...thoughts." He replies coolly.

He finally looks up at my face, which I take as a chance to give him a questioning look. He shakes his head and grabs the cart pushing it along again.
