Chapter 43
I managed to fall asleep for a few hours, I woke up shivering to the coldness that surrounded the inside of Jack's car. I looked over to Harry who has his feet hanging out of the window singing along to music. I found his jacket on the floor and put it on.
"You cold?" Harry asked.
I nodded not bothering to speak. He held out his hands waiting for me to move over, I shook my head. He frowned before pulling me close to him wrapping his arms around me.
"Why are you being such a pain in the ass?" I asked.
"I don't know what you mean" he smiled.
"Mm" I mumbled.
"I'm happy" he nodded.
"This hasn't got anything to do with Liam and I breaking up has it?" I raised my eyebrow.
"Of course not" he smirked.
I rolled my eyes "You're such a dick".
"I may be a dick but I'm a happy one" he laughed.
I pulled myself away from him and sat as far away from him as this car would allow.
"Oh come on don't be dramatic".
"I'm not, I just don't see this situation as a happy matter that's all" I shrugged.
"Why? You don't have to kid yourself anymore that you and Liam will work".
"Why are you so sure that we wouldn't have worked?"
"Well for starters you guys didn't, and second of all you don't love him".
"So?" I asked.
"He's in love with you and you love someone else" he smiled.
"And who's that ay?" I tilted my head.
"Me" he said confidently.
"How are you so sure of yourself?" I asked shaking my head.
"Deny it all you want, the longer you do the more time you will waste"
"Oh I waste time? Says the guy who ended it in the first place" I snorted

"Things are different now" he shrugged.
"So what when I want to be with you it can't happen but when you want me it's different?"
"That's not what I mean".
"Then what do you mean?" I crossed my arms.
"There's nothing stopping us from being together now".
"Yes there is, there always will be a reason Harry we both know that. If there isn't one now there will be one soon".
He sighed "I guess I don't care anymore"
"I wish I could say the same" I said coldly.
"We're at the motel" Jack interrupted us.
Thank god "Good" I smiled before getting out the car.
The rest were already there, Liam came up to me. "Have a nice journey?"
"You could say that" I sighed before joining the others.
Harry joined us a few minutes later, he seemed more annoyed than he was in the car.
"So what happens now?" I asked them.
"Well I've booked 3 rooms so we can pair up" Louis smiled.
I prayed that I could be with either him, Niall or Zayn.
"Okay so Niall and Zayn together, and well..." he looked at Me, Harry and Liam. "I'll let you 3 decide the other 2 rooms" he smiled.
I looked at both of them and sighed.
"I'll go with Louis" Liam said.
"No it's fine I will" I smiled.
Liam and Harry looked at each other then back to me. "No way" they both moaned.
"Look you both need to sort it out, bro's before hoe's remember?" I laughed. I ran to Louis "I'm with you" I shouted.
He clapped his hands "Excellent" he flung his arm over my shoulder and walked us to our room.
Maybe if Liam and Harry worked things out I wouldn't feel so guilty about this whole situation.
Louis handed me a black mobile phone.
"I've added all our numbers" he smiled.
"Louis you shouldn't have" I shook my head.
"Oh come on it was nothing" he said hugging me.
"I'm so happy I'm with you" I said relieved.
"Me too, I wonder how they will cope together" he laughed.
At dinner we all met and sat outside with a picnic. Harry and Liam seemed completely fine with each other they both came out of their room laughing, this made me smile.
"They always do this, have a fight one minute, best friends the next" Niall whispered to me.
I smiled widely "I'm glad they're okay".
"Me too" he hugged me. "I like having you here Morris".
"I like being here, I don't think you guys realise how much I love you all" I laughed.
"And we love you too, you're like a sister to us. Well I don't know if you can say the same about Harry and Liam" he laughed.
"I love you Niall" I kissed him on the cheek.
"Love you too Morris".
We all ate bacon sandwiches drinking a countless amount of alcohol, everybody was completely trashed. It took forever to get Louis into our room, he passed out on his bed. I rolled my eyes at how much of a lightweight he was. Someone started to knock on the door, I went and answered it.
"Hey" I smiled.
"Hey" Liam returned the smile.
"I just wanted to say good night, and I'm over it. You and Harry really do belong with each other, he really does love you".
"Is this the drink talking?" I laughed.
"No I've hardly drunk, I mean it I want you to be happy, and I think he will make you very happy" he nodded before leaving me with my thoughts.
"Wait Liam" he stopped and turned around.
I kissed him on the lips "You really were the best thing that ever happened to me".
He wiped the hair from my face "We just weren't meant to be" he shrugged.
"Friends?" I said hopeful.
"You can't get rid of me that easily" he laughed.
"Love you" I said before going. Oh shit "You know what I mean".
He laughed "Love you too".
I waited until Liam was out of sight before sinking to the floor, Harry and I will never work how can it? I've tried so desperately to ignore the pain in my heart, the constant reminder that I love him. But how can I ever admit that to him? Will those 3 words make everything happy? Or will they just destroy us once and for all. People think 'I love you' makes everything better, fixes things. But I'm not like most people I don't believe in happy endings, I don't believe that loving someone makes the darkness go away. Love is a risk, but is it a risk I am willing to take?
