My Mistake

Victoria's P.O.V

"Great. Now, let's talk about my grandchild," My mother states, as I lean my elbows on the counter.

"Okay, what do you want to know?" I say, smiling.


"Okay, first of all, this is one of the questions that's always going through my head," She says. I could picture her moving her hands around as she says that. "Does Harry know?"

Oh.

Ooooh.

"Yea. Of course he knows."

"Oh okay. And he still left?" She asks.

"He had no choice. He had to go on tour." I feel daja-vu to when I talked about this to David the day after I met him.

"Okay, well um this is another question I was wondering," She says, changing the subject. "Do you know the gender?"

"Yea, I do actually. It's, no wait, scratch that, She's a girl," I say, happy that she changed the subject.

"Oh my god! How cute! So, are you going to start buying her clothes and all the stuff?" She asks her voice getting higher.

"Um, I don't know, yet," I reply.

I hear the front door open and close and soon know it was David. I smile and go to the living room. I find him looking for me and he also smiles as he sees me.

"Hey, mom, um I'll call you later, okay?" I speak into the phone.

"Oh, yea. Alright, sweetie. Have a good day. I love you," She says.

"I love you, too. Bye, mommy."

"Bye, honey."

I hang up and David walks to me and puts his hands on my waist as I swing my arms around his neck.

"I thought you loved me," He jokes, sticking his bottom lip out.

"Yea, I do. I love her differently cause she's my mother."

He chuckles and leans in and kisses me. I kiss him back and we stay like that for a while. When he pulls away, he says, "I wanna take you out tonight."

I giggle and say, "Okay."

"Great because if you didn't say okay I was gonna force you to go cause I already have everything planned out."

"Rude," I joke.

He chuckles and grabs my hand and leads me to the couch.

"But, not right now. Right now let's just watch TV and cuddle."

I sit on the couch and he puts on a movie. He sits on the couch, next to me. He puts his arm around me and I lay my head on his chest.

"Fine with me."
