I woke up to the sounds of screaming and yelling. there is no mistaking the screaming was cate and the yelling was our idiot father. I'm instantly worried because cate NEVER shows ANYONE fear... especially our father. He has gone way too far... Again and we're not going to stand for it. I grab the phone Louis bought for me yesterday and click on his name to text him. 'Louis, I know you just met me yesterday... but can you please come and get me and cate? Our parents have gone way too far.' I text him and give him our address before running downstairs. I'm shocked by what I see. I hope Louis' already on his way. The sight in front of me is horrifying and I was glad I texted Louis when I did. My father was standing over Cate with a knife. "What the hell is going on here?!" I scream. "This bitch talked back to me." he said and went on with his threatening. I check my phone really quick where he doesn't see, just for some reassurance. 'on my way.' it said. Thank god! I run over to Cate. She has a black eye and a few cuts on her arms and face. "shit." I say. I turn and punch the man in the face. I refuse to call him my father. EVER. I notice that his nose is broken and he's got a busted lip and a black eye. Good. all of a sudden I feel a sharp pain in my side. I look and see that the bastard stabbed me! I kick him and noticed that Cate was coming up behind him with a hammer, good. I keep him distracted and as soon as you hear sirens of police cars, Cate smashes the hammer into the back of his head and he falls forward. "You okay?" Cate asks. "that bastard is laying on the floor unconscious and the police are right outside, Never been better." I say laughing. I run outside and tell the police what happened. They run inside the house to get the bastard . I catch a glimpse of Louis and I run to him. I open my arms and he catches me spinning me around. "Thank you so much!" I say. "Hey, its no problem okay?" he says back "are you okay? You're bleeding quite a bit." I am? huh didn't notice. "Yeah the bastard stabbed me in the side..." I say right before Louis scoops me up and puts me in the back of an ambulance. "We will get you and cate feeling better then we will find you a place to stay" Louis says. That's the last thing I hear before I fall asleep, I was so tired....
