All Because of You

"Kaitlin these are amazing!" Ruby squealed hugging me tight.
We are in her living room and yes, the entire gang was here. And yes, so was Harry.
She showed everyone the pictures I had just fished developing.
I smiled at my work and made my way into the kitchen to pour myself some vodka.
"After those stories you told I never thought photography would be your career"
I turned instantly to the sound of the voice in the doorway.
I huffed at his words.
"And why not?" I snapped. Putting away the vodka.
"It just seems so.....goody goody Not what I would expect from the.... New you" Harry replied,
Stepping closer with every word.
"It's a cruel ironical art, photography. The dragging of captured moments into the future. moments that should have been allowed to evaporate to the past, should exists only in memories, glimpsed through the fog of events. That came after. Photography forces us to see people before their future weighed them down."
He now stood directly in front of me, so that I had to look up.
"When did you become so good with words?" He had asked. A chuckle forming in his voice.
My mouth opened to respond but the ringing sensation of my phone filled the air.
I pulled it out of my back pocked at looked at the name .

"Hello babe"
"Hey beautiful, how's it going down there" he asked cheerfully.
"Good, how was the book signing?"
"Fantastic, no trouble going on down there right?" I glanced back up at Harry who was smirking and I shuffled to the other side of the room.
"Of course not"
"OK just checking, love you Kaitlin"
"Love you to Anthony"

I hung up and placed my phone back into my pocket.
And Harry glared at me. Still in the position I left him in, "You should teach me that sometime" he said breaking the silence.
I furrowed my brows. "What?" i asked rubbing my temples
He leaned his elbows on the counter.
"Lying without a hint of it in your voice"
I gave him a death glare. And he raised his hands in defense.
"I love Anthony" I snapped.
"Just as much as I love pizza, or a puppy that followed me home" he replied cunningly.
I was about to say something when Louis entered the room.
"We have Danielle on Skype" he announced.
I perked up and rushed into the living room almost knocking him over.
"Is she really on Skype!" I yelled rushing next to Liam on the couch.
"HEY KATE!" She said loudly throughout the screen,
I waved and my smile grew.
Danielle has also been traveling. She's a famous dancer and dances for many celebrity's, and believe me, she's VERY good.
"Haven't see you in a while" she smiled at me.
I glanced over at Liam who looked impatient to talk to her.
"Love you Danielle but you should text me. I think Liam here is dying to speak to you" I blew a kiss and moved out of shot. Liam mouthed me a thank you and they began talking.
"I think this one would look great in our bedroom" Ruby said pointing to one of the picture with Niall.

I glanced over and Perrie and Zayn were drinking beer and sitting on the recliner ontop of one another.

And Louis and Eleanor have.... Disappeared.
Sneaky bastards.
I slipped back into the kitchen to pour myself another drink. which after these two days, i well deserved.
"Just you and me" the think accent said the same time an arm rested over my shoulders.
But I backed a way and shook them off with a start.
"You may not believe I love Anthony, but I do. Just get over the fact I'm over you" I barked.
But he kept his annoying ass smile on his face.
"Whatever you say princess"
"Harry, just leave me alone" I said through gritted teeth harshly
"You see Kaitlin, I don't think I can do that. Because I kinda sorta care about you. And I can kinda sorta tell your not okay"
his words shocked me, touched me even. but i shook it off and played defense.
"I'm perfectly fine, and I'm perfectly happy" I barked.
But my harshness didn't make him flinch.
"You act like your okay so no one worries about you, but inside your dark, you have secrets. You hide things away from every body"
"We all have something to hide, some dark place inside us we' don't want the world to see"
He laughed a bit, like it was a joke. I've noticed he dose that when he doesn't know what to do or say next,
See, I have him figured out just as well
"Kaitlin, I must say. You have changed, a lot. I thought this would be easy. I guess I was wrong"
He makes me furious. Thinking I would be easy? Really?
"You know what? Yes, I have changed I'm not as nice or gullible as I used to because I don't want to get used or walked over. I don't trust everyone and tell them my secrets, even the people I've known forever, because behind every fake smile is a backstabbing bitch. I like to be alone, I like to distance myself from people, because in the end, they're only going to leave. I'm the only person I can depend on"
I took a deep breath and glared him in the eyes.
"So you admit it? You don't really like Anthony? You can't even depend on him or trust him?"
You've got to be fucking kidding me.
"You've got to be fucking kidding me?! I tell you all that and all you take out of it is you think I don't love Anthony?! Harry fucking Styles you are the biggest asshole I've ever met! You think you have people all figured out don't you? But you don't! You think you know me like the back of your hand, but you don't! I've changed the past three years! You said that yourself! Now do me a favor. Leave me alone, leave Anthony and I alone. Because I promise you after this wedding, you and I. Will never see each other ever again.
Because that day I told you this, us, was over. I fucking meant it"

I stormed out passing by the entire gang watching this all go down in the doorway. I stormed up the stairs and into my room for the week and slammed the door.
And a single tear ran down my face.

"I love Anthony, I love Anthony, I love Anthony" she repeated . Like she was trying to convince herself, or the ones around her.
"I love Anthony, I love Anthony" she said. But yet still wondered why she was so sad?
She saw the look in his eyes after her words. Look of hurt, sadness, and more hurt.
Maybe....she thought. Maybe he did care.
But she erased the thought.
"I love Anthony"
