*Annas POV*
Niall really had cheered me up. I didn’t know how he did it but after our brief conversation I didn’t feel like banging my head against the wall anymore. When I was on my way back home I actually was in a good mood.
My mom was still working when I got home and my brother was hanging around with his friends, so I had the whole house to myself. After eating something I didn’t know what to do. I looked around in my room and saw my old guitar I hadn’t touched for a long time now. Being in the good mood I was, I decided to play a bit. I played my favourite song at the moment: “My Favourite Thing” by Tonight Alive. It was pretty easy to sing too so I started singing along.
Suddenly my phone started ringing. When I looked at the display I saw it was Cat.
“Hey Kitty Cat” I said after picking up.
“Hey Anna. I invited Niall over later today, you wanna come? We could watch movie or something.”
“But you only met him today?”
“So? I like him, he’s nice. You’ll like him too when you know him better.”
“Oh no, I already like him. I’m coming over later, it’s cool” I said.
“Great! See ya, hon” she screamed into the phone. Great. Now my ears were ringing.

Two hours later I was on my way to Cat. She lived five minutes away from me. I was not sure what to think about the fact that Niall was coming too. I mean he seemed nice, but we only now him since today.
When I knocked a completely excited Cat opened the door. When she saw me her smile dropped a bit but she still looked like an insomniac.
“Hey Cat, nice to meet you too” I said, pushing her back into the house.
“I guess he’s not her yet?” I asked.
“Nope, not yet… But I’ve made some popcorn. I also put together a list of films we could watch” she said, the big smile still on her face.
“We’re not watching Twilight” I said before she could go on.
“Oooh” Cat looked a little bit sad for a short moment, but then her smile was back on her face.
“You really have to calm down a bit before he’s here, he’s gonna think you’re even crazier than you actually are.” As soon as I said that the doorbell rang.
