Obsessed

Paisley's POV


Did I seriously just manage to sing in front of One Direction?
I can't believe I actually did it. I pushed through my fears like a true warrior and showed everyone that I could do it.

But seriously. Did I just sing in front of One Direction?


As we were walking back to the dressing rooms, something solid ran straight into my thighs. I looked down to meet the face of an adorable toddler. She was looking up at me with a curious face, pushing her blond hair back from her eyes with one dimply hand while the other gripped onto my calf.

I stared in awe at her beauty. But my sadness quickly caught up to me. The painful memories of the last few years and past couple of days hit me like a ton of bricks and my eyes began to water.
There was a toddler touring with us.



The pain was too much to handle.
And instead of facing my fears like I had just done moments ago up on that big stage, I decided to run.
I couldn't let anyone see me in pain. I couldn't let them see the tears in my eyes and the non-exsistant smile on my face.
There was nothing. Nothing at all.
"S-Sorry", I say quickly turning around and gently nudging my way through the girls and boys, leaving the cute little girl to watch me leave with big curious eyes.

I accidently rammed myself into Harry, causing him to grab hold of my waist and my hands to push against his chest, in order to stop both of us from tumbling down. I don't think he had seen what had just happened, hence why he asked me, "Are you okay?"
If it wasn't a bad time, I probably would be thinking something along the lines of, 'So now you want to speak to me?'. But it wasn't the time.

My brain was too caught up in the drama about my past, that I couldn't think about anything else.

He stared into my eyes and his face softened. I think he could tell that I was about to cry, "Y-Yeah. I'm fine", I say quickly before rushing off down the halls and turning into a corridor, which took me the long way around to my dressing room.
I just couldn't put up with the pain and embarrassment anymore.


When I finally got to the dressing room, nothing could hold the tears back.
They began to tumble down and nothing was going to stop it.
Or so I thought.
A swift knock came from the door before it opened. They could have waited for me to answer.
"A-Are you okay, Paisley?", his voice broke the silence of my sobs. What was he doing, speaking to me?
"Yeah. I-I'm fine", I say, sniffling and wiping away the wetness of my eyes, hoping he hadn't noticed I had been crying.
Harry closed the door behind me and awkwardly stood there. "I know something is wrong. They said that once you saw Lux you just freaked out and left", he spoke, stepping towards me.
Lux. That's her name.
I nodded my head. "Uhh. N-No. I just wasn't feeling all that well", I lied.
"You're lying", he said.
I looked up at him to see him looking at me intensely.
"I-I think I understand. And I'm not going to pressure you into answering all my questions. But I just want you to know that I saw you looking at the pictures on your phone. I get it. You probably don't want me to speak about it. But if you need anyone to talk to, that person can be me", he said, walking towards me until he was right in front of me.
I gave him a horrified expression.
"I didn't m-mean to sound creepy", he said, wide eyed, taking a step back.
He was no longer invading my personal space.
I nodded my head, in pain and what he just said.
He knows?
He understands?
Did one of the girls tell him?
So help me god, if they did, I won't be able to forgive them so easily.










I just want her back.
