Chapter 28
Harry's POV:
Yeah I attacked Xavier. Im proud I did. Hes been nothing but trouble the whole time Ive known him. He wasnt mortal like I think Sarah thought he was.
He was actually the same creature as Sarah. A mixture of everything. She just didnt know it. We had told her she was the only one of her kind. In reality, there was 2.
Xavier had ignored the gangs requests to join us. He didnt join the South ethier. He basically abused his powers, but trying them out on innocent mortals.
We didnt want him influencing Sarah to do the same. So I attacked him to distract her so Liam and Niall could take her away. Zayn would probably go to leaving me to handle pretty boy.
I would make sure he never came near her again.
Maybe this was part jealousy of Sarah liking him so much. And seeing him put his arm around her just made me snap. I wanted to kill him, but I couldn't do that.
For one thing, he was immortal. And I had also already killed one creature today. I just had to make sure he stayed away fr Sarah.
I got to my feet from where her powers had thrown me. Dang she was fiesty. Slowly I began staggering towards Xavier.
Sarahs POV:
I began twisting my arm trying to free myself from Liam's grip. Niall attempted to grab my other arm, but I sent a knee to his um...sensitive area.
He let out a small squeal, and fell to the ground. I started to run back, running smack into Zayn. He caught hold of both my arms. Before I could work on freeing myself I heard a noise.
A scream that sounded like Xavier. Something came over me then and there.
I pulled my arms away from Zayn in one movement, and punched him square in the face. I took off back where we had left Harry and Xavier.
I saw blood, and gagged. No. No. Why had we left Harry with him. I saw Harry practically pounding him to death. Rage boiled in me. Xavier had done nothing wrong.
Before I knew what I was doing, I charged forward. I threw myself at Harry, and to my suprise I knocked him down. I began repeatedly punching him.
Suddenly I felt hands on y shoulder pulling me off him. Liam looked down at me in shock. "Sarah. Sarah. Relax. Please calm down." He said, sounding sad.
I took some deep breaths, and my heart beat slowed. I started crying. He pulled me into a hug and held me as I cried. Then Suddeny I remembered why I had come.
I pulled away from Liam, and crawled over to Xavier. The smell of blood made me gag, and I puked to the side. I ignored it and looked at Xavier's body.
He was badly injured. That I could tell. "Sarah a medic will find him. We need to go." Said Liam softly. I shook my head. I wasnt leaving Xavier's side.
"Sarah please come." Begged Liam. I started crying again. I wanted to go with Liam. I trusted him and I knew I would be safe. But I couldn't leave Xavier after what Harry had done to him.
Finally I heard a sigh, and footsteps approaching me. I felt arms sweep under me, and I was lifted up. I cried into Liam's shoulder as we started walking away.
Then I vowed to myself I would make sure Harry regretted what he had done.
