Chapter 25
Zayns POV:
Having been healed, I joined the battle. It wa crazy. Full on fan vs full on gang. Our gangs were about the same size. The teams were pretty even. The South Gang just had more werewolves than vampires.
Th battle was light at first. Just like our everyday gang battles. Soon it grew to a full on rage with powers being thrown about. I ended up taking on 3 wolves at once.
Not an easy task.
I could take them though. This was what we trained for. This was why we had the powers we did. I fully activated my right paw. It glowed green as it always did. Perfect.
I let out a growl and swung with full force at the nearest ones head. He let out a yelp. Smoke coming from his face as it burned and blistered. He fell to the ground clutching the burning face.
The other 2 were afraid now. I could tell. I have them a smirk, holding my hand out to the side. "Whos next." I growled. Suddeny something sharp sunk into my back.
I cried out in pain, falling to the ground. Looking over me I saw non other than Lyle. "You." I growled, clutching my back and rising to my feet. He waved the other 2 wolves away. The third still laying in pain on the ground.
"Me." He said with a smile. I saw he was holding his famous weapon. Basically it was an enchanted stick with a tip that could change on his command. He had chosen knife blade for me I could see.
"Still carting around that." I said, nodding to the dangerous stick. He shrugged. "You're still using that power paw." He said. Touché....kind of.
"What do you say we do a little one on one?" He asked, a mischievous glint in his eye. I activated my paw, and looked him dead in the eye. "Bring. It. On."
Harry's POV:
This battle wasnt like anything I had ever done before. It caught me a bit off guard to be fighting another mystic. I had only fought with classes lesser than mine. Now the battlefield was equal.
I knew we had mostly the same powers. Most mystics are the same. It can be an advantage, but also a disadvantage. I knew all their tricks, but they knew all of mine.
I would be fighting better normally...but I had something on my mind. In all of this commotion...I had lost sight of Sarah. I just hoped someone from our gang was looking out for her.
Was I really thinking about something as stupid as a girl during a fight? Sarah had powers. She could protect herself. My mind kept drifting back to her image though.
Light flowing hair, sparkling eyes. Suddenly I was determined. I would finish off this mystic, and go find Sarah. Hopefully it wasnt too late.
Sarah's POV:
Scared...that's an understatement. I was flat out terrified! There were more creatures than I could count. All with different powers. I stood with Louis, partially hidden by the trees.
Suddeny Louis made a small noise, and slumped to the ground. I shot around and looked into familiar eyes. "Miss me?" Asked the smirking face of James, the guy from the village.
He was Lyles friend who had almost gotten me captured before. "What did you do to him!" I hissed. He laughed,"nothing permanent...yet."
Rage boiled inside of me. Louis had protected me. He had been a mortal in a world full of creatures. Granted, I wasnt mortal. I was used to being around mortals though.
"Get out of here." I barked through gritted teeth. "It's just you and me. Looks like you'll have to fight your own battle here." He said with a smirk.
Suddenly his eyes flickered over his hand. A green glow appeared on it. I didnt know what it was, but it didnt look good. Guess he wasnt mortal after all.
He lunged forward, but I managed to dodge. I remembered my speed then, and hurried into the forest. As I was running I remembered something else. I had the power to be one invisable.
But they had never taught me how!!! Guess I'll have to figure it out on my own. "Oh Sarah." Called his voice sending shivers up my spine.
I would have to learn. I would have to learn fast.
