Chapter 23
Liam's POV:
Where the dome was supposed to be, there was only rubble. Pieces of it scattered everywhere. Smoke blowing around the area making it difficult to see.
Ginny, the medic that works here, she would be fine. She was a human that had been turned immortal as a child. There's a process. I won't go into detail now.
Sarah and Louis however were not normal. The dome, could have crushed them. Please, please say they werent inside. I didnt see them around......crap.
We rushed towards the smoking rubble. I skidded to a halt suddenly. Someone was there, kneeling by Sarah who was sprawled on the ground.
Sarah's POV:
Im not sure what happened for a bit. The rubble had knocked me out. I thought for sure I died. How can someone survive a metal roof collapsing in on them?
I was vaguely aware of movement. It was odd though, unlike movement I had experienced before. Is this what death is like. Suddeny a sharp pain shot through my arm. I lurched awake.
The daylight was practically blinding. I squired up and saw a figure looking down at me. I saw I was laying on scorched grass in the middle of the rubble.
"You're alright then." Said the figure, with a familiar American accent unlike Niall and the boys. I stared at him curiously. He had green eyes, not like Harrys, more green.
His hair was blonde, and he had a bright smile. Im not going to lie it was nice hearing an American accent again. All vampires and creatures seemed to have other accents. This was the first American accent i had heard in awhile.
"Who are you?" I asked, staring at him,"and what did you do to my arm?" "Sorry. I had to pinch you to see if you'd wake. It was the only thing I could think of." He said with a slight grin.
"What's your name?" I asked. Before he could answer I heard the low familiar growl of Harrys voice say,"get away from her."
The guy turned, and grinned slightly seeing Harry, Liam, and Niall.
Did he know them? Was he some kind of mystical creature too?
"Hello Harry, boys." He said, standing. I sat up, watching them curiously. "Get away from her." Reapted Harry. "I was only saving her. She was being crushed. Your other friend too. Louis is it? Hes over there." Said the guy, pointing to the side.
Louis lay still. I scrambled to my feet to hurry to Louis but they boy stopped me. "You might not want to get to close to them." He whispered:
"Sarah dont listen to anything he tells you!" Called Liam. I looked between Liam and the boy, unsure of who to believe. "They're te bad guys Sarah. They'll hurt you!" Whispered the boy.
I was confused, and overwhelmed. "SARAH! Dont listen to him! Hes the bad one! He wants to kill you!" Yelled Liam.
"they're lying to you.." Said the boy.
"I....I" I stuttered, backing away from all of them. "Sarah Ill keep you safe." Said the boy extending a hand. "Xavier get out of here!" Yelled Niall.
I continued backing up. I was so confused! "I DONT KNOW!" I yelled; and took off running. Yes it was immature to just run away from your problems.
I just wanted to put as much distance as possible between me and them.
