A New Family
Chapter 5
Lily's POV:
I was almost angry at Louis. He wouldn't admit that he was too scared to ask Eleanor to marry him. And after a week with Eleanor, I knew that she really did deserve Louis, pop star or not. I know I don't really know Louis, but sometimes you just get a feeling that someone is a good person. I noticed that Louis kept tugging at his pants pocket, so I made a wild guess that there was a ring in there and I'm never wrong with my assumptions.
"So Louis are you good at cooking?" I asked. He looked away and mumbled no. I laughed because I already knew AND I was better at cooking than an international pop star. He pretended to be angry and glared at me so I pretended to be frightened and said:
"Oh, sooooo scary!" We both grinned. But I held my eyes for a little while longer just to see what happened. He kept my gaze and ended up knocking into the wall. I started laughing so hard I could barely breathe. Through a few tears and a lot more laughing I taught Louis how to prepare the breakfast.
A hour and thirty minutes later, the breakfast was in the oven to stay warm, the shades were closed, and candles were lit for a romantic mood. I called Eleanor out to the kitchen and then ran to our room so Louis and Eleanor could have privacy.
I couldn't believe how similar they are, they looked alike, talked alike, they even seemed to walk alike! I found myself loving the hour and a half I spent with Louis as much as an entire week I spent with Eleanor, again they're exactly alike! It's like it was destined for them to be together, if things don't work out with them, I can't even imagine how crazy my love life is gonna be!
I was listening to music on my iPod, when heard Grandma's emergency phone start to ring. Frowning, I picked it up. I could barely understand the voice on the other end, I searched my mind and then remembered who it was, Sadie, one of Grandma's friends. I heard sobs, but I managed to make out:
"Lily, your Grandma, your parents, sister, aunts, uncles, cousins, your Entire family is shot dead."
