Louis's POV:

I had been thinking about Eleanor all week. Normally when this happens I can still enjoy my time with the lads but all I can do is stare at the pictures of Eleanor on my phone and listen to her new voicemail, explaining that she'll be in America for the week with no service. I started to realize that Zayn and Perrie have been dating for only about a year and they're engaged! So what does that make Eleanor and I?

Then that got me thinking about how lovely of a wife Eleanor would make and how lovely our children would be. I started figuring out what their names would be, but I forced myself to stop. This was a huge decision, this would not only effect Eleanor, the band, my family, and I, but it would also create a lot of media attention. Was Eleanor really worth that? There wasn't a doubt in my mind. I started running to my car then stopped, remembering that their would be a mob of girls waiting for me. Sighing, I called Paul and arranged a few security guards to come as I would look for the perfect ring for Eleanor.

Eleanor was supposed to come home tomorrow but I really wanted to see her. So I flew to Minnesota, carefully disguised, I normally wouldn't but I really wanted this to be a private moment between her and I. While I changed into a tux on the car ride, I also changed my mind about asking her today, I needed more time. It would be enough to see her face, when she saw me dressed in a fancy suit, at a lake in Minnesota.

But I never thought for a second that Eleanor stayed with a 13 year old. When I saw a girl too small to be Eleanor walking towards the door, I was starting to think about all the ways that it could ruin this surprise. Little did I suspect that she would play a big part in the surprise. I was expecting the girl's reaction to be: "OH MY GOD, YOU'RE LOUIS TOMLINSON!" But instead she raised an eyebrow and asked:

"And who might you be?" I think my mouth hung open, in surprise but I quickly recovered thinking she's homeschooled or something. But either way I thought it was safe to give her my name and reason for being here.

"I'm Louis Tomlinson, Eleanor Calder's boyfriend from Great Britain, I've come to surprise her." I realized I made a huge mistake. I look pretty young, how would a normal 21 year old have enough money to buy a ticket from Britain to Minnesota? Instead of questioning my wealth, she asked:

"So are you like proposing to her?" How did she know my intention?

"No, wasn't planning on it," I replied nervously.

"Well you should" she said, simply. What nerve this girl had!

"And why is that" I said, rolling my eyes.

"Well it's obvious that you've been dating for at least two years because you have to be pretty dedicated to buy a ticket from Britain to Minnesota. And seeing that your dressed in a tux, you obviously want to impress her" Wow. She sure is smart. "And yes, I know that I'm smart." How the hell did she know I was thinking that? .I sighed and explained that I wanted more time to prepare but she interrupted and said:

"Enough of your excuses, I can tell you've got a ring in your pocket. Come inside, I think I know just what to do." HOW THE FUCK DID SHE KNOW I HAD A RING IN MY POCKET. My brain was screaming: LEAVE WHILE YOU STILL CAN, but something told me that Eleanor would follow her.

"You coming Louis? Oh and by the way, my name is Lily." Lily smirked at me as I climbed the stairs, into the cabin.
