Lily's POV:

I knocked on the Smith's door, anxious to see Jacob again. Jacob opened it and grinned at me, he held out a banquet of roses to me. I smiled but I didn't sniff them, I was highly allergic to pollen, if I even touched that stuff my throat would close. The gesture was nice but I had to give them to Eleanor, making it look like it was intentional and I asked him:

"They were from Eleanor, right?" He nodded slowly, as if catching on. He gestured for us to come inside; I held the door open for Eleanor and Louis because I would get a few seconds alone with Jacob. I slowly closed the door and he bit his lip said:

"You look really nice, Red" I laughed, ignoring his name for me.

"Yeah right." I started making my way to the dinning room but Jacob grabbed my wrist and swung me towards him. I almost lost my balance and fell onto him, but he grabbed my shoulders just in time. I breathed heavily because he was so close to me, his lips only a few centimeters away from mine. He pulled a curl out of my eyes, leaned in, and whispered into my ear:

"What I wanted to say was you look flawless, but I didn't want anyone to hear except you." Then he let go of my shoulders and went into the dinning room. I stood at the door way, with my mouth wide open and cheeks flushed. He took my breath away...

After my cheeks went back to their normal color, I made my way to the dinning room and sat next to Louis, across from Jacob. He didn't look at me once for the rest of the night.

Back home I was so confused. Why would be ignore me all through dinner when he almost kissed me by the door? I changed into Harry's shirt and opened my computer. Immediately I remembered Nick and my promise to Skype him at nine. I clicked the Skype button and immediately I saw his face.

"Nick I missed you so much!" He grinned at me with that adorable smile.

"I bet you didn't miss me as much as I missed you!" I laughed nervously, thinking guiltily that he was right.

"So what's been happening at home?"

"Well, it's pretty much the same stuff but recently..." Suddenly something got thrown at my window. What was that? Another noise sounded at my window. I faintly heard someone calling my name. I was instantly excited to check and see if it was Jacob. I turned back to Nick.

"Hey I need to go, I think that Eleanor's calling me. Can we Skype tomorrow?" I asked, immediately regretting that I lied.

"I guess... nine o'clock tomorrow?"

"Sure," I said, looking over at the window again, distracted by another ping, "See ya." I quickly closed my computer and opened my window shade. Jacob grinned at me and said:

"You know if you hadn't opened your window in the next five seconds, I would've thrown a boulder at it?" I laughed and said:

"You got want you wanted, so what do you want from me?"

"I just wanted to see you and your beautiful smile," I blushed a deep red and tucked my hair behind my ear, I hoped it was dark enough for him to not see that.

"Your cute when you blush," this time my heart swelled and my cheeks grew hotter and redder.

"So do you fancy anyone?" I was taken back by him being so straight forward, but I shook my head no, not once thinking about Nick.

"No? What about me?" He looked hurt, I laughed.

"We'll see," I shut my window, smiling to myself. My friends always tell me the best way for a guy to fall quickly for you, is if you always keep them guessing. Then they won't be able to get you out of their head. I want Jacob to spend the entire night thinking about me.
