Chapter 6
Poppys POV
Its the day after the day after I saw Clare. She didn't come over yesterday but she texted saying it was because she was getting it know her housemate, strange because Liam was here. What were she and zayn up to. Getting to know him a little too well were we. I don't know what they would do which is what Harry was asking me. I haven't seen her in three years. People change. I did. So when she came here today with Liam and zayn I immidiently dragged her up to my room and forced the gossip out of her. Turns out she did get to know zayn, verbally and physically. "you slut" I laughed. "sorry mother won't do it again, I like him, a lot, I think we are dating" she said blushing. "ahhhh that's great" I said beaming with a grin from cheek to cheek. As we go downstairs the boys are playing video games. Harry is winning. Was winning until I went and sat on his knee. He put the controller round me and rested his head on my shoulder. I saw zayn look at us then I looked at Clare. She didn't follow on and she sat besides zayn. Harry won, "ah, your welcome" I chant. "what?!? I was winning before you came and I drove the car across the finish line" he looked at me as if you say in your dreams. " I provided comort for your head so it didn't get tierd and fall off" after I said that everybody just looked at me like I was a phsyco , I just did my Girly giggle and they laughed too. Even Clare was laughing. Then Harry said "so are you two an item then, after yesterday id say so" "just friends at the moment, until we decide if we are right for each other" zayn replies "ah" says Harry. I see Clare. Her eyes fill with tears. "Niall Clare come help me with food" if I take Niall aswel it dosnt seem to obvious. "ok" Niall says getting up. Clare just says nothing and keeps quite, slowly following me out. When we reach the kitchen I give her a hug and we talk about it, Niall realises and hugs her too, then we have a group hug. He tells her "you shouldn't settle for that, your beautiful, he just hasnt realised it yet" I get what he means, zayn knows how pretty she is but hasn't got to know the inside beauty aswell. "Niall that's so sweet" I say and he winks at me. I feel a bit giddy inside but keep it inside as this is about clare not me. I then feel arms around my waist and Niall steps back. I turn to see Louis there. I overheard. Clare I'm so sorry. I know what it's like to love somebody and you don't know if they like you back. He looks at me. Aww that's so sweet, he likes me. "come into my room tonight, we need to talk" I whisper, kissing him on the cheek. Louis blushes and leaves to join the others Niall looks a bit taken back but Clare is in awe. "I wish it was like that for me" she says quietly. "it will be, he just hasn't realised you love him yet" I say, overjoyed by what just happend.
