It was about 11:30, my cheek was sore, and I was scared. The only thing that kept me sane was Haz. We snuggled for an hour or so, and I had decided it was time to get up and I guess do something else. We decided to go back to school, knowing that staying home all day wasn’t gonna do us any good. I walked over to the mirror, and looked at my face. Thankfully the bruise was barely visble, even though I was sore… I knew I couldn’t just back down. I wasn’t going to let Hayes or anyone make me feel intimidated.

As we arrived to school, we stopped by the front desk and got our late passes and headed to our classes. As I walked into my class, Haz pulled my arm.

“Heyy….what is this…I don’t get a goodbye kiss…” I blushed and thought to myself. I felt bad…I did sort of like him…it was just I…my hidden agenda was to play him, and as much as I would love to sit and do all these cuddly things with him…I would be the one getting hurt in the end.

Because just like Darcy, and just like Jenn….he moved on to the next one. I couldn’t let that happen…so I made the first move…

I reached up, grabbed his neck and pulled him in for a kiss. The kiss lasted much longer than I expected because in a few seconds I was gasping for air. His hand wandered around my waist, as I pushed myself against him. Forgetting I had class, I pulled back.

“ I have..um class..” I wiped my lower lip with my thumb as I smiled up at him.

He let out a little chuckle. “What?!” Giving him a confused look.

“I didn’t expect that…but I’d like to have more at tonight’s party.”

“Like a little more of what?” Acting like I didn’t know what he was talking about.

“Those kisses.”

“Maybe yes, maybe no…?” As I walked into my class, Jenn spotted me and motioned me to sit next to her.

“Ouch what happened” She looked at my bruise.

I had told her about what had happened, and she looked at me like something had scared the living daylights out of her.
