Liams My Puppy
******NIALLSPOV******
"start explaining" Louis said. "well a couple of days ago I was on my way home when i spotted liam here crying in the alley alone" " why was he there" "shush I'm trying to explain" I say "okay" " he had ran away" I try to explain. " I ran for my old owner and was scared and terrified" Liam says quietly.
"he kept me in a cage and only took me out when I was on a leash and whenever I did something bad he would hit me" Liam says. I paled at the thought of the innocent puppy boy being hurt and gasp. "you didn't tell me did that to you" I whisper sadly. " they niall its a they" he says.
" anyway so yeah Liam here is very innocent and is new to most things and therefore I don't want to leave him alone so I was going to ask if you could watch him for me a while i work" I ask. " I work from 9 to 3" I say. " well I don't see the harm in it, however I want to know what exactly happened between Harry and youse two" Louis asks.
" harry yesterday showed his true homophobic bastard self by insulting me and Liam and by bringing my past into it ruined our friendship and left in one sentence, does that explain it Louis" I say angrily. Louis frowns "harry isnt homophobic that's just stupid and hypocritical" he says "you should have heard him Louis you should have seen his face" I say with a sigh.
Louis suddenly gets up and runs the house door shouting "I have to fix this" I look at liam "what does the puppy boy want to do" I ask "I want to learn shapes" he shouts "what shapes do you know puppy" i ask. "liam knows the three sided one and four sided one, oh and can count to 10 and Liam can say the alphabet" Liam said triumphantly.
"very good puppy I'm so proud" I say happily as i scratch behind his puppy ears. I take a piece of paper off of the counter and draw a rectangle a square a diamond a circle and a triangle. "which ones do you know puppy" I ask. he smiles and points. "that's a trianlge and a rectangle puppy" " tr-tri-triangle and r-re-rectangle" Liam buffs out. "great job pup" I say excitedly as I hug him.
"now puppy do you want to watch a movie" I ask. "movie movie movie" Liam chants. "go pick a movie puppy" I say happily. Liam bolts over to the movie case and picks a movie. " this one this one" Liam chants holding up lady and the tramp. "okay pup sit down" I say happily putting the movie in and sitting down.
before I'm even sitting for ten seconds loans cuddled into my side with his face nuzzling into my neck. I slowly place my arm over his shoulder to pull him closer. and sit back and relax watching the movie.

when the movies almost over the kiss scene comes on.
I look over at Liam to see him staring at the screen with complete wonder and amazement in his eyes. "what they doing" Liam asks. " uh uh they are kissing puppy" I try to explain "you do that then with a person you really like and care about. after I say that Liam looks at me for a few seconds and starts leaning towards me. ' oh my god is he going to kiss me' I thought to myself.
just as he's about to kiss me the front door slams open and a stumbling Harry falls into the apartment. Louis pokes his head in the door way minutes later looking pissed. he points to us then to Harry and shouts "FIX THIS" then slams the door closed.
