Chapter 2: Lets Talk
Liams My Puppy chapter 2

I woke up with something around my stomach I open my eyes to see Nialls strong arm draped over my stomach. I slowly pull Nialls arm off my body as I start to remember what happened last night.

“Welcome home Liam” Niall whispers in my ear. “Do you want to watch a movie” he asks with a smile. I nod enthusiastically as I point to the couch. “Okay what movie do you want to watch” he asks. I grab my notebook and write ‘I have never seen a movie’ as he reads it he gasps mockingly. “Well we will have to change that then wont we” he says. He pushes me down onto the couch lightly. “I know, we will watch my favorite movie” he says, I nod my head enthusiastically at the thought. “But first I have to get something to eat because I’m hungry” he says as he stalks off into the kitchen, only to come back a couple minutes later with a bunch of food. I just gawk at him. “What I’m hungry and you can have some to” Niall says frustrated, “not” he says in a hushed tone. I just shake my head at his antics. I point at the screen as he takes a seat on the couch beside me. He grabs the remote and starts the movie.

As the credits start rolling on the screen I turn to see Niall staring at me intently. I look over at him and he blushes “What” I ask in a shaky voice. H looks back at me in astonishment and shakes his head. “You talked” he asked still astonished, I just nod then look at him again. “but yeah ummmm I was just thinking about what I was going to do with you while I’m at work” he says, “anyway lets watch another movie Niall says as he pops the next movie in. “it’s called toy story it used to be one of my favorite movies” Niall says with a smile. During the movie Niall falls asleep but I am wide awake, ‘I love this movie’ I thought to myself as the movie ended. Eventually I get tired after the movie ends and fall asleep.7

As I get into the kitchen I go to the fridge and open it how I saw Niall open it yesterday. I reach into the fridge and pull out a piece of beef like I did yesterday. As I was pulling away from the fridge I hear shuffling in the other room. “Liam, where are you” Niall calls. I close the fridge door as my tail starts wagging and my ears perk up from the mention of my name. When Niall bursts into the room with a panicked look on his face. As soon as he sees me he runs to me and raps me up into a Horan hug. “I was worried that you ran away when you weren’t there when I woke up” Niall says in a rush as he pulls back from the hug. “What were you doing anyway” he asks. I hold up the piece of beef in my hand to show him and I smile at him. “You can’t have meat for breakfast silly puppy” Niall says with a chuckle. I frown as the nickname he has given me. He takes the beef out of my hand still chuckling I stick out my bottom lip and widen my eyes and stare at him sadly. “no matter how much I want to give into that puppy dog face I can’t you have to eat toast and bacon because it seems I have eaten everything else” I just continue to give him the look. “Okay how about this if you eat regular people breakfast you can have a beef sandwich for lunch okay. I nod excitedly. While he’s cooking I just stand behind him looking at the contraption he’s cooking on. When he’s done he puts the food onto two plates. “Go sit at the table Liam” Niall says, “Okay Neal” I say excitedly. “Niall, NI-Ull” Niall says. “Okay Ni-ull, Ni-ull, Niall” I say with a bit of frustration in my voice. “Amazing job Liam” he says excitedly. “ama-amaz- zung” I try to say. “Let’s leave that for another time let’s eat I’m hungryyyyyy” Niall says, I nod and sit at the table as he places my plate in front of me. I reach for one of the strips of bacon and plop it in my mouth as I attempt to rip it apart with my canine teeth. I shake my head to try and rip it apart. All of a sudden Niall starts laughing, “What” I say a bit annoyed “you were shaking your head” he answers. I just shake my head again and finally taste the bacon; I involuntarily let out a low growl. Niall looks at me shocked, “did you just growl” he asks, and I nod and continue. He continues to stare at me for a few seconds before he continues to eat again. “Do you like this stuff” Niall asks, I nod excitedly, “well I better make sure I make it again if I want hear you growl again he says with a laugh. While we finish eating I hear the front door open as someone shouts “Honey I’m home”.
