Comet’s P.O.V.
In the morning I wake up and find myself on the couch with the guys around me. I look down at my hand and find harry’s wrist in my right hand. Immeadtily I jerk my hand away and his hand falls from my grip and onto the couch. Harry groans and opens his eyes rubbing the sleep from his eyes with the back of his hands. And I do too only then do I realize that I’m not wearing my glasses. I shoot up out of my seat and go towards the back of the bus to the bunks. I grab my aviators out from under my pillow and go to the bathroom. I shut the door behind me and lock it; I sit down on the toilet seat and let my head fall into my hands.
What happened last night? Why was I on the couch surrounded by the boys when I clearly remember going to sleep in my bunk? What the heck happened? I get up off the toilet seat to stand in front of the mirror. My eyes are slightly blood shot and my cheeks are tear strained. Come on comet what happened last night.
“Comet you in there” Louis asks lightly, knocking on the door.
“Yes now go away” I say lighter than I intended.
“ok but we’re making breakfast if you’re hungry.” He says
“not hungry” I say and I can hear his footsteps departing.
“Should we ask her about her nightmare?” I hear Liam ask as I walk to my bunk to get my bag to change. Crap I had a night terror. Oh god I forgot to take the pill. I dig through the endless pill bottles and find the correct bottle. I shake and I hear nothing hit the sides of the cylinder container. I’m out of pills that’s why I didn’t take it, I don’t have any pills anymore.
“No we probably shouldn’t she’s gonna bite our heads off if we do.” Niall says. Well he’s not wrong.
“Yeah that and she’ll just ignore us and dismiss the question like we never asked it so we shouldn’t try. ‘Cause either way she won’t answer the question.” Zayn says. Wow smart ass we got here huh. Me not wanting to hear anymore of the conversation I grab stuff and leave to the bath room. To change into a black crop top some leggings and a black skull cardigan to go over my crop top.
As I leave the bathroom and walk to the bunks I find Liam at his. He looks up from his phone and gives me a sympathetic smile.
“are you alright love” he asks putting away his phone his full focus on me.
“yeah why wouldn’t I be” I say and he frowns but keeps his gaze on me. genuine concern and sympathy clear in his eyes. He squints a little and I look down just in case he’s able to look through the glasses and into my eyes. My grey-blue, green-gold eyes, the eyes that have never seen someone look at me without disgust and fear in there eyes. Eyes that have never witnessed people be so nice and try to get to know me in all of the nineteen years that I have been alive. Never has it been so hard to avoid and ignore people mainly because they want nothing to do with me.
But then again it could be a trap they set to try to get me to open up and tell them my secrets but no I will not fall for it again. Never again will I let someone to that to me, it’s happened twice and I will never let it happen a third time. So I’ll keep my mouth closed, my heart locked, my mind alert and my feelings controlled and nothing will happen. At least nothing is what I hope is gonna happen.
