"Wanna go shopping today?" I asked Bim.

We sat at the cafeteria, eating lunch. In about thirty minutes we needed to be back at the class. Apparently we were going to learn how to sing with emotions, take out the emotions in the singing. Like I hadn't done that before. My whole life had been unstable emotions, tragedies and happy moments. From loosing Victor, to get a little sister. Music and singing had saved me. If I failed this class, our teacher don't know anything about singing with emotions.
Bim poked her food, but she didn't eat.

"I don't really like shopping." She said after a while.

"How can you say that, while you're wearing like the hottest fashion?"

She hesitated on that question.

"If I say yes, where would we go anyways?"

"I don't know the name of that exact mall, but I know it's about three kilometres away." I smiled.

She looked at me for a long time, but looked down again at her plate. I could see in her eyes that she wanted too. I guess she was just too afraid to let someone in. In, in her shell.

"Fine. Fine, fine. We'll go tomorrow." She said.

"Yes!" I cheered. "Wait, what day is it tomorrow?"

"Friday, you nucklehead." She giggled and stood up.

And then, she walked away. Well, I finally succeed to get her to do something with me. When she left, there was a empty spot beside me, but Harry quickly filled that up.

"So, I saw you talking to that girl. Is she your friend?" He said.

He always spoke with a low tone, very dark and really, really slow. I actually loved it. It was so hot.

"No, she's just my roommate. But I thought we could hang out and get to know each other better."

"Yeah, I thought so too. What are you doing tomorrow?" Harry spoke, while biting his lip.

I really wanted to get to know him better too, but no. I had just made plans with Bim.

"I'm sorry Harry. I was going to hang out with Bim tomorrow.."

"Oh, I see.. Well maybe we can hang out on Saturday?" He asked.

I sighed.

"Okay, Harry. But we're only hanging out as friends." I assured.

"Sure." He laughed. "But why, though? Did you just got out of a breakup, or what?"

"No, I didn't. But just.."

"You don't have to explain, I get it." Harry smiled.

"Thanks." I said, smiling me too. "I gotta go now, class starts soon, see you there?"

"See ya." He said before I left.

I got into my room, noticing Bim first, as always. Her pink hair really did light up whatever place she where at. I saw my reflection in the mirror, and straighted out my outfit.

"C'mon, let's go to class." I said and held the door open for her.

Class went well. Everyone sang it well, actually great. Liam, for example. He sang with sad eyes, a very serious face and with a fragile voice. What was really going on with him? Because I doubt it still was the book he was sad about. Our teacher told us to sing with something good in our mind, or something painfull or something that mattered. I wondered what Liam thought of.
When class was over, I felt really tired, and I thought I'd go up to my room.

"Wait up, Kath!" I heard a voice shout.

I turned around and saw Niall, running up to me.

"Where are you going?"

"Up to my room. I'm going to call some friends and family, and see how they are." I smiled.

"Oh, okay. So, I guess I'll see you tomorrow?" He smiled.

"Yeah, of course!"

"Cool!" He smiled big, and walked away.

He is too cute, I thought and went back to my room. I picked up my phone and decided to call mum. The signals went on, until she finally picked up.

"Kath, sweetie?!" She said in my ear.

"Hey mom!"

"Oh gosh, I never thought you'd call!" She said.

"Of course I would, I have just been busy these few days."

"So.. Me and dad, and little Faye wants to hear everything. How's things? How's your roommate? Have you made any new friends?"

"It's great! I've gotten a few friends, yes."

"Tell me about them!!" She spoke.

"Uhm, well. They are amazing. We have explored a little around the college, which has been fun. And the classes are great too!"

I didn't know why I couldn't tell mum that they were guys, I just couldn't.

"Well, it sounds wonderful, darling. We miss you a lot."

"I miss you guys too.."

Suddenly, Bim opened the door and came in.

"Look, mom. Say hi to dad and Faye for me, would you?"

"Of course. Be in touch. Love you."

"Love you too." I said and hung up.

Bim sat down at the sofa, but she kept looking at me.

"Was that your parents?" She asked.

"Just my mom." I smiled.

She nodded.

"Have you been calling your parents too?" I asked.

"No, not really. They.. uhm. Live so far away and it costs a lot of money.." She said.

Something told me she wasn't telling me the truth. But I didn't have the courage to ask, if I did, maybe she would cancel our plans tomorrow. So I just nodded and pretended that I understood. I felt really tired all of the sudden. A nap couldn't hurt, right? It would actually be good. I could need one. So I layed down, and fell asleep right away.

Guys, I know this chapter wasn't the longest, but I didn't have much time and I'm going away for a couple of hours soon, so I hope I didn't write a crappy chapter just because of that. School starts for me tomorrow, so now on my school-days, I think I will be writing one chapter per day, maybe two. I'm sorry. But yeah, have a great day. I love you, a new chapter is up tomorrow.
