No one's POV
So the days went by. Rai was still living in the hospital . Louis had become more awkward to be around, and he kept mumbling stuff in his sleep.
Rai's POV
"Louis, can you wheel me to Niall's room before we go to the cafeteria? I wanna talk to him." I say,practically pleading. I haven't seen him since 2 days ago, the doctors shooed me out to run some very important tests, they say.
"Okay, yeah let's go. We haven't seen him in a while, and I wanna see my best mate before I go back." He says back, but I can tell he is sad I wanna go see Niall.
When we get to the door, Louis opens it and pushes me in. He pulls me over to Nialls side and goes to sit in a chair across the room.
"Niall, baby, open your eyes. Please. Open them. C'mon, come back." I whisper into his cold, empty ear. He starts to stir, but doesn't open his eyes. I look up to Louis, and he starts to say,
"See, Rai? deep down there he heard you. He's trying to come back to you. To us. To the fans. To his family. He's fighting the coma to come back, he'll come back soon. I promise." He says, pulling me in for a hug. I start to sob into his shirt. He rubs my back up and down.
"And what if he doesn't? What will happen then?I'm not moving on, he HAS to wake up. He promised nothing would separate us, and I intend to keep that promise." I say back, but a wave of hurt flashes through his eyes, but quickly goes away so he thinks I'm not suspicious.
I get out if his arms, clearly uncomfortable.
Niall's (sort of) POV
I don't know how long I've been asleep. The last thing I remember is pushing Rai out of the car window when we.... Oh no.
I keep hearing someone's voice. Then I hear it, once again
"Niall, baby. Open your eyes. Please. C'mon, come back to me," did I really hear who I thought I heard? I start trying to move, and I try to open my eyes, but I can't. I'm too weak, and my eyes are SOO heavy. I try to move my lips, but it comes out a mumble. I hear sobs, quite loud actually. Then footsteps going out the door.
"Come on, Niall. I know your trying to come back, just try a little harder. Please, come back to us. To me, to the whole world. Baby I love you. You promised me nothing would separate us. I'm gonna keep that promise. You're gonna keep that promise. Please, open your eyes," the angel says.
I open my eyes as hard as I can, the flutter open then close, an I catch a glimpse of Rai, sitting there crying. She gasps when I open my eyes.
"R-Rai..."
