Meeting Love Making Success
34- Come for me Please
Chapter 34- Come for me please
I was getting tired of sitting around in the hotel, we had a day off to rest since we had the concert last night. I was exhausted and felt like I was about to pass out. Well, I didn’t want to, I just wanted to walk around town and listen to the sound of cars honking. I had no idea why. I went to the main door that you could tell was recently painted. A nice medium brown paint, which was really smooth when I raced my hand across it. I needed things to calm me down and distract me from the sounds of my heart shattering. I’m getting tired of my life just being one big heap of drama. I was now known as the paparazzi’s “toy”. Yup, and it was crap, shitty feeling, and worst of all, there wasn’t much I could do about it. I sat down on the floor, slowly placing one shoe at a time on my feet. I wasn’t in much of a hurry, since I knew I would probably run into paparazzi. I was going to tell Rose I was going out, but I didn’t have much of a feel for going back into the main room. I finish placing my shoes on and stand up, opening the door slowly. The knob was cold, probably since no one had left since last night. I grabbed my purse off of the hook that was next to the door, and slung it over my navy tunic. I slammed the door shut behind me and started walking down the hall. I observed the walls carefully, just noticing how much detail the design on the walls had. A nice swirly, fancy feeling, making you feel good that you could afford to actually stay here. If only everyone could get that feeling.
I get to the elevators and the door opens, and out comes a little blonde boy with his mom. He reminded me of what Niall looked like when he was little. Niall and I would show each other pictures of us when we were younger quite often. Well, when we were first getting to know each other. I turn and watch the boy waddle down the hall with his mom.
“Look mommy! I’m a penguin. Quack, quack, quack!” The boy exclaims.
The mom turns and smiles, giving the boy’s hand a little squeeze. I let out a little giggle. The boy even had the same personality Niall would have had when he was younger. I smile and step into the elevator, pushing the button to go down to the lobby. The door closes and I get one last look at the empty hallway. The elevator progresses towards the lower floor and finally lands with a little “Thump!” The door reopens and I walk out looking around at the lobby filled with a few visitors. I walk out through the swirly doors. I used to love these types of doors when I was younger. If my mom ever had a meeting and the building had swirly doors, while she was in her meeting, Rose and I would just swing around the doors the whole time. Man, I missed mom. After the accident, things really changed.
I look both ways down the street before crossing over to the other side. The road was really crumbly, showing how often a car would drive on it. I tell myself to stop observing every little detail and try to think of somewhere to go. I wasn’t going to stand here forever. I see a McDonald’s not far from here and decide to get something to eat. I was starting to get hungry, since it was almost 2 in the afternoon already. I walk down the old, unattended sidewalk towards the McDonalds. I finally reach the Drive Through and cross the walkway, grasping the handle, opening the door. I walk inside and order a Big Mac with fries and a soda. While I wait, I look around to see maybe three other people in there eating. I was surprised since, well it was New York and McDonalds was really popular. My meal is finally ready and I grab the tray, heading for the fountain drinks. I fill my cup with some Pepsi and sit down at a table next to the windows. I begin eating watching out the window as a few cars go through the drive through. My phone starts buzzing and I pull it out, seeing I had gotten a text from Niall. I check it and reply back.
N: Hey, how was the concert last night? I forgot to ask. I know it was probably great! Lucy started walking today. She just stood up and started wobbling across the living room. I got it all on video for ya. Here’s the link: //lucywalksfirsttime.
R: Thanks babe! The concert was great. I had a great time. Well except for announcing the Demi thing. I will make sure to watch the video! At least I can watch it on video. It’s not as good at actually SEEING it, but it’s better than nothing. I love you!
I click on the link, opening the video on my phone. Lucy was in a crawling position and stood up slowly, placing one leg before the other. She fell after a few seconds, but got right back up and slowly headed for the TV. I smiled so proud of Lucy. But there was something else I was thinking. Desperately wanting to actually be there to see it. I wish Simon had never agreed to this stupid one year tour thing. I want to go back home!
I stood up, throwing my trash away in the trash. I place my tray on top and walk out. I started to head back to the hotel and walked through the swirly doors. And yes, I went around maybe six times. I finally went inside, and headed for the elevator, and stepped inside, pushing the first floor button. I finally reached the floor and walked out into the all too familiar hallway. I headed for our suite and pushed in the card. I opened the door and walked into what I would have never expected. Demi Lavato was there. Oh shit!
