-Amanda's POV-

Niall and I walk to school together. I hold his things and he holds mine. We hold hands as we walk. We tell some jokes and play around. But things get serious once he changes the subject.

"Amanda... Do you think Dylan is gonna find a way to kill me?" Niall asks.

I look at him sternly.
"Why would you ever ask that?" I get upset.
"Well.. " Niall stutters.
"Babe. Don't think like that, Nialler." I hug him.
"I'm just worried." He says.
"Don't be." I smile.

We get to school. I open my locker and we exchange stuff again.
"Let's get to class." I say.
I grab my books and we hold hands to class.
I sit by the window and Niall sits behind me.
Harry then walks into the class.
"Hey you." Harry smiles.
"Hey you," I smile back.

"Hi Niall." Harry waves to him.
Niall waves back,

Even tho Niall is comfortable around me, he still doesn't talk to anyone at school, he's so insecure, he still always wears long sleeves around others. And yea. At school he's still the same old Niall Horan. But he's adorable.

-After Class-

"Niall, babe. I'm just gonna be in the washroom wait for me here." I say as I let got of his hand.
"Okay." He says as he sits down and pulls out a book.

-Niall's POV-

I watch as Amanda leaves.
That's when I get nervous. No one there to protect me from Dylan and his friends.
As soon as I said that, they come up to me.

"Hey look what we've got here, boys. It's Niall Horan. The girlfriend steeling joke." Dylan laughs.
I get nervous.
"She was never yours to begin with, Dylan." I say.
"oh look. Big boy stand up for himself. Stand up to this loser!"
One of Dylan's friends picks me up so that I'm standing and Dylan then throws a hard punch at my face.
I cough. Letting little drops of blood leave my mouth.

"Break up with her and I'll leave you alone." Dylan says.
"No." I say.

Dylan then punches me again and I fall to the ground.
In the background I can see Harry, Louis, Liam and Zayn just watching as Dylan and his friends kick me.

"DYLAN!" I hear Amanda scream.
Dylan and his friends automatically stop hurting me.
Amanda ran over to them. She pushed them all away from me and got down and helped me sit up. She hugged me and I cried on her shoulder.

"Niall. Babe stay strong." She kissed my cheek.
I hugged her tight.
The principle came in with the other lads.

"Sir, he's badly hurt!" Amanda panics
"Okay. Take care of him. I will tell your teacher that you both won't be attending class today. Dylan and his friends with be suspended." He says.
Amanda thanks him and hug the rest of the lads and Amanda and I home because she walked with me to school.

We got to her home finally and she made me sit down on the couch. Amanda made me some soup and a warm drink and sat beside me and cuddled up with me.

"I broke my promise I feel so guilty." Amanda said
"Why? What promise?" I ask.
"In the hospital I promised I would never leave my eyes off you." She said.
I put my soup down on the table.
I look her in the eyes.
"Amanda it's not your fault." I say.

She leans in a gives me a long kiss.

"Niall... We can't be together." Amanda says.
I sit there shocked.
"But Amanda. We were meant to be." I say
"Not babe. Your all beaten and hurt more than usual cause of me." She said all sad.
"For your safety, I have to break up with you." Amanda sighs.
"But love. I'll still be bullied." I say.
"But not as much." Amanda says.

We sit in silence just looking at each other.

"You'll still love me. Right?" I ask.
"Of course. I will always love you. We just can't be together anymore." Amanda says.
"Amanda you can't do this! Don't just let them break us apart! They'll just take advantage of the fact your not there to protect me anymore!" I yell.
"Niall-"
"NO! we can't be finished! We've been through so much together! Babe! Your my whole world!" I yell louder.

Amanda sighs.

She leans in for another kiss.
I think we're not breaking up.
She then pulls apart.

"I'm sorry Niall. Leave when your ready." She gets up and goes upstairs to her room.

I sit there and watch as she leaves.
She was my first girlfriend. I can't let her leave like this.
I grab a pillow and hug it, then I start to cry into it.
