To say it hurt to open my eyes is an understatement. It felt almost impossible but I knew that if I did I could be happy to have my vision back despite the pain. The hardest part was how sensitive my eyes are to the light. But I know as soon as I open my eyes, Hadley will be there waiting for me. I hope she's the first thing I see when I finally get the strength to open my eyes. I was battling with the pain and my eye lids felt too weak and I decided to give up for now until I felt a soft kiss on my lips. I know that kiss. I will always remember her kiss. That kiss is what gave me the finally push I needed to open my eyes. My vision was weak but the doctor said that with rest it will be strong again. I looked to see Hadley hovering over me.

When our eyes made contact, she smiled and I saw a blush creep up on her cheeks as she looked down like she is shy; that has to be the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I opened my mouth to speak and I tried to start my sentences about 10 times but I kept getting stuck. I must look like a babbling idiot but Hadley only kept smiling one of those smiles that you can try and get off your face but it just wont go away. She eventually shushed me and told me I needed to rest and when they let me go home, we can talk but only after I rest. I tried to object but she kissed me again, taking my breath away. I finally gave in and closed my eyes since it was difficult to keep them open as it was. I fell asleep to the thoughts of Hadley and the life we can have together.
Hadley's P.O.V.
Seeing the look on Ni's face when he saw me, made my heart race because I know he can finally see me. The doctors said the surgery went even better than they had anticipated and as long as Niall rests, his vision will be back to full health in a few weeks but that he will have some pretty bad headaches for a while so they prescribed some medicine for me to give him whenever he has a bad headache. The next couple days, they kept a close eye on him to make sure everything is okay. Niall slept most of it but today they are letting him go home. Liam came to help me get Niall ready to leave. Niall was asleep so we decided not to bother him. We changed him into regular clothes and Liam carried him out to the car. He laid him in the back of the car and I sat with Niall's head in my lap. He started to stir as the car started moving but I told him to go back to sleep and I would wake him when we get home and then hopefully he can be up for a bit without it hurting his eyes too much. I really want him to meet Ella again when he can actually see her. I tried to imagine the look on Niall's face when he sees his little princess and I couldn't get the smile off my face on the way home as I thought about it. He and Ella have been unbreakable for the past week. She has him wrapped around her tiny little finger.
