*1 Week Later*
Niall's P.O.V.
I am so nervous! I know it's kinda wimpy to be a guy and be so nervous but this is my eyesight we are talking about. I will finally get to see Hadley and my little princess Ella. But I am scared of the pain and possible risk this surgery is taking on. Hadley is driving me to the hospital, the boys, minus Liam, are watching Ella. Yes, it does take all of them to watch one baby. I love them but they are such goofballs. I must look really nervous because I felt Hadley's small, warm hand grip my thigh reassuring me that everything is going to be okay. I put my large hand on top of her petite one and squeezed it gently. I wish I could see the blush on her face. From what Liam tells me, Hadley blushed constantly when she's with me. I bet it looks adorable. I bet she is so beautiful and I will feel even more like the luckiest guy in the world when I see her. I hope that now, when I get my eyesight, she won't ever leave again.
The car stopped and my heart was pounding hard in my chest. Hadley came around to help me out of the car. I stopped her from going any further. I gently took her into my arms and kissed the top of her head. She sighed into my chest and it made me just content.
I leaned down and before kissing her, I whispered, "Hadley, when I recover from my surgery, I am going to treat you like a princess meaning I am going to take care of you from now on, okay? You have to trust me and know that you'll always be safe with me."
She held tight to me and I could've stayed like that forever. She will be my queen one day and maybe we will even have some more princesses running around or a little prince. I can't see my life being lived with anyone but her. She led me inside of the hospital and I took deep breaths. I was taken into one of the rooms where I was told they would be performing the surgery. Liam was talking with the doctors and from what I could hear, he was being Daddy Direction again, making sure the procedure was safe and exactly how it would be done and what we needed to do after it was over.
They had me lay down and Hadley held to my hand while we waited for the doctors to be ready. Hadley said she would be here the minute I woke up and could adjust to seeing. She had me take deep breaths as the doctors instructed so I could start to inhale the medicine that would put me to sleep for the procedure. The last thing I heard before I went under, was: I love you Nialler."
