New Sister
Waking up
My whole body felt heavy and it hurt. I couldn’t really remember what had happened. I vaguely remember a lot of teenage girls, a hug and a lot of pain. I feel an arm wrapped around my waist tightly. “I am not leaving her,” Harry's voice says. It takes me a few moments to progress that. I want to say his name, but all that comes out is a soft groan. Immediately, everybody shuts up. Well, that’s something. “Liz?” Harry asks softly. I open my eyes, which I regret. I get blinded by the light. I push myself up to hug Harry, but my waist hurts like hell. “Careful,” Harry said as he pushed me down. “You guys leave. Now,” the nurse insisted. I grabbed Harry’s hand. “Can he stay? Please?” The nurse shook her head. “I’m sorry.” I push myself up to hug Harry when I notice something is wrong. “Harry,” I whispered panicked. “I don’t feel anything.” He freezes. I start crying. Then I didn’t feel two, but six arms around me, trying to comfort me. I look up and see Niall land Liam hugging me. A few moments later, they were kicked out by a doctor. I already didn’t like him. “Hello Elizabeth, my name is doctor Willows,” he introduced himself.
I just can’t believe it. I can’t believe what that idiot did to me. “Liz?’ Harry whispered. After the nurse left, he laid beside me again. “Everything is going to be fine.” I shake my head. “Don’t make promises you can’t keep.” I push myself up, which feels weird. It feels like I’m floating. I look around, I just want to get out of here. If I could. “Sweetheart, lay down, relax, everything will work out.” I felt tears in my eyes. “But, what if I can never walk again? I’m not going to spend the rest of my freaking life in a wheelchair.” I hid my face in his chest. “You won’t. And you know why? Because I know you’re strong and stubborn.” I didn’t believe him. I guess I didn’t want to believe him. He didn’t understand what this was like. For me, my life seemed over. Damn, I wished my dad was here. “Don’t do this.” “What?” “Don’t feel miserable, I’ll stay with you, no matter what happens. And you have plenty of people that are going to help and support you.” Okay, he clearly didn’t understand this. Then he kissed my forehead. “I need to take care of something.” I didn’t want him to leave. “I’ll be back soon,” he promised. Even though I was sad that he had to leave, his timing was perfect. A doctor I hadn’t seen yet, entered my room. He started to talk, but I didn’t listen. I wondered what Harry was doing. It bugged me that he didn’t tell me what he was going to do.
Hours passed an I was bored to tears. After about two hours somebody knocked on my door and I looked hopefully to the door. It wasn’t Harry, but Louis. “Hey,” I said, hiding my disappointment. “Hey.” He sat down. “How are you?” “Bored,” I said with a faint smile. “Then it is a good thing I brought you this.” He gave me a bag with a few of my favourite books. One of them was Fiery Heart, a new book I didn’t have yet and was dying to read. “Thanks,” I said surprised. I hugged Louis. “I’m sorry.” That was so much harder to say than it should be. “For what?” Louis asked confused. “For being a brat and acting like a bitch while you were just trying to support me.” Louis didn’t know how to respond. I yawned. “Sleep well,” he said while getting up. He stroke my hair one more time and left. Very quickly, I fell asleep.

Notes
Hey,sorry that it took a while to update, but I had to prepare Sinterklaas and that was hell. But it was great. Yesterday, I first celebrated it with my friends and I got a 1D collage. Well 95%, the rest is gymnastics and TVD. And from my friend from choir, I got a model of the concert at sea grounds, but with Blof and 1D on stage together. Kind of suitable, because I am going to see them both in the same week :D. Anyway, I was kind of preoccupied with my poems (they were Horatius-level, not -__-) and gifts, so sorry that it took so long :$
