“Her mom? But I thought…” I closed my eyes. This is just too much. “When she left, she asked me to take care of Liz in case something ever Beau.” “Why?” How could a mother leave her daughter alone, just like that? “Listen Harry. Lycca had her reasons and they are not my business and certainly not yours.” “Too bad she doesn’t stick to her decisions.” I got kind of mad. She wasn’t there for Liz when her father died and now she was. “Harry,” Mark said with a strict tone. I shake my head and head for the lifts.
In the cafeteria I ran into Niall and Liam. “Where are Louis and Zayn?” I asked. “Watching Louis’ sisters. How is she?” I bit my lip. “They can’t tell until she wakes up. What is going to happen with Tyson and his buddy?” “His friend escaped and Tyson started confessing all kind of things,” Liam started. “Dealing, threatening people, abuse…” It sounds like he leaves out something important. “And?” “The murder of Liz’ father,” Niall finished. I laid my head on my arms and closed my eyes. “What?” Liam asked. “Why is everybody in this world so fucked up? He claimed that he loves her, but he killed her father and kidnapped her. Her mom left her, didn’t come back when her father died and now she’s with her…” “What?” Niall interrupted me. I summarize what happened in a few lines. Then I got up to get something to eat. Niall follows me, of course. “Harry, listen, everything will be fine.” I shake my head.

Together we get back to Liz’ room. Lycca was still there. She looked like she cried, but I don’t care. I have a new category of people I didn’t like and that was “people that hurt Liz in some way”. And yeah, she belonged in there. Lycca got up and left without saying a word. I look at Liz again. She is still pale and she looked so tiny and fragile in that bed. I stand for a few moments next to her. I couldn’t believe that we finally found her and that I’d nearly lost her again. Then I laid down next to her and wrapped one arm around her. “Hazz, what are you doing?” Liam asked. I didn’t respond and played with her hair. I looked at her peaceful face. I wonder what happened to her the past weeks. “Guys, you have to go now,” the nurse says quietly. My grip around her tightened. I didn’t want to leave her, not now. Liam and Niall get up, but I make no attempt to leave. “Harry, come,” Niall said softly. I shook my head. “Harry…” “I am not leaving her,” I snapped. I held on to her very tightly, still careful though. But nobody could make me leave. Liam was about to attempt to make me see sense, I knew that look on his face too well, but he was interrupted by a soft sound.

So, today after school I bought Midnight Memories and now I am driving my brother crazy (this really made my day) :3
