New Sister
Closer than you think...
I fell on my bed. Together with Mila, I’ve done everything I could to find Tyson, but that idiot seems to have disappeared. I started to grow desperate. Lissa couldn’t tell anything about Tyson, nor could his parents or his friends. We ran out of sources. I was happy that I had a few weeks off. Normally, I’d have spent them at home with my parents and sister, but I couldn’t right now. I wrapped myself in my blankets, not even bothering to take me cloths off.
Again, I saw Liz. Of course, I thought. I hugged her. “I am so sorry,” I whisper. “Don’t be. This is not your fault.” “I can’t stand it. I have this feeling I am missing something essential.” Liz takes my hand. “You think too much. I am closer than you think.” I frowned as she pulled my into another hug. I stroke her hair. Then I notice bruises in her shoulders. When I take a closer look, I see they’re everywhere. Her arms, her back are covered. “What happened to you?” She bites her lip. “He hurt you. What happened?” “It is nothing.” Suddenly, she is wearing a jacket. “I love you,” I whispered. She kissed me on my cheek. “Remember, closer than you think.” Damn, why couldn’t she just tell me where she was. Yes, I know, this was a dream. But it was still frustrating. Liz got up. “Where are you going?” “You need to wake up.” “No.” “Yeah, you do.”
“Harry, damn it, are you wasted or something?” Louis was trying to wake me up. “What?” I say, half in my pillow. “What did you take? It took me ten minutes to wake you up.” “Nothing.” Louis gave me this accusing look. “Seriously. I was just tired. What are you actually doing here?” “I need to talk to you.” That sounded serious. And I didn’t like it. But his next words were kind of, no completely unexpected. “Thank you.” “Wait, what?”
