“So, where were you yesterday?” Melissa asked. It was lunchtime and I sat with my ‘amazing’ friends. “I didn’t feel well.” With my mind, I was still with the teddy bear and the necklace. I’d been this close to burning the little bear, but Daisy had stopped me and taken it. Well, as long as I don’t have to see it. But the thing was still bothering me. The fact that it’d been delivered told me that Tyson knew exactly where I was. The bell interrupted my thoughts. I took my bag and got up. I went to maths as somebody suddenly grabbed my arm. “I know perfectly well what you did yesterday. And you stay away from Harry. He doesn’t need some poor girl without a family,” That was low, “he needs a suitable girl…” “I hope you don’t mean yourself.” She froze. s if I didn’t know why she showed up Sunday. She was so predictable. Some other girl bumped into her, but she gave this girl a deadly look and the girl quickly passed us. “Listen, you stay away from him.” Not the most difficult thing to do, but still, I was not letting this school slut tell me what to do. “I’d like to see that happen.” I did not wait for a response.
For the rest of the day, I had this feeling that everybody was staring at me. I think it is a miracle that the principal hadn’t called me to her office for ditching school. Well, some luck at last. I practically ran home when the last bell rang. I swear, I already die now, I won’t survive another two years of this. I quickly changed from my uniform into this. Time to get out of here.
