In Detective Luna's Office (Present Time)

Chloe's P.O.V

I sit down in my mom's comfortable chair giving it a few spins before stopping to Louis looking around his surroundings. I giggle and catch his attention.

He's cute. "You can have a seat you know..." I say look at the papers on the desk.

Was found murdered on August 17th, 2013. Released at least fifty-two stab wounds. Victim was severely chocked by a thick rope. Her body was still in action (alive) before the chocking of the rope, wounds on hands that show she fought...

I look up at Louis who sighs heavily. I looked down at the black and white print of the horrendous murder of this poor guy's girlfriend.

"Well...." he says.

"Well...." I say back.

I take a breath, "Eleanor was found in an apartment." I say look at my phone case.

"What were the conditions..." he choked out with teary eyes.

"Well...." I say. I don't want to break his heart...plus this is my...seventh murder case I've gotten.
"She was stabbed many times after a hard labor (meaning she was probably held hostage and beaten badly before her killer decided to....get rid of her for good.) and strangled by a rope and left in the apartment." I explain to him

I look at Louis who wipes his tears and is silent like before.

I take a deep breath, moving the papers to the side of the desk and folding my fingers together.

"How about we get to know each other before...going through with this case." I suggest to him.

I'm not really the kind to give a fuck but I feel for Louis...

"Okay...sure" he says quietly, "...you go first." he says

Dreading to tell my life story I roll my eyes making him chuckle.

"Well...as you can see I'm Detective Luna's daughter but we don't look alike. Because well, I'm adopted. Anyways. I go to the University of Minnesota go Vikings! but I'm on break so I came here to New York to see my mom.And so-"

"Why are you in Minnesota when you're mum's here? And what are you studying?" he cuts me off and lays back in the chair.

At least he's getting comfortable to talk to someone like me...I don't normally open up to people. And don't even think that I'm falling for him.

"We're both originally from Minnesota but she got an offer here and accepted." I spin around in a circle before coming to a stop. "...as you can see I'm studying law" we both chuckle at his dumb question.

"Anyways so I pretty much want to become like her because well...she's a great role model." I finish not wanting to say more.

"Do you have any friends?" I look at him weird. What kind of question is that!?

"Ummmm what the hell. Yes" I laugh.

"Oh...I just asked because you seem a little...sassy and hard " he reasons tilting his head.

I roll my eyes,"Whatever...I have a group of friends that actually like me for your information" I say in a mocking British accent. He chuckles and runs his fingertips on the chair's handle.

I grab my phone and flip through my 2,340 pictures down to a picture with my best friend Emily. We look like hipsters in this one.

"See." I say showing him my screen

"Pretty cool love" he says looking at it.

"Thanks." I say leaning back on the chair.

"Okay so do you have suspects?" he finally asks

I look at him weird...I might as well say I have a few people on my list.

"There are a lot of killers that have been released that have done murders like the one that happened to...Eleanor." I say

He closes his and eyes and opens them again I continue, "I have a few...people that are close to you. Although I'd like you to go home and make a list of suspects you personally think that might want to...get rid of Eleanor."

He nods, "Who do you have so far?" he asks.

My heart beats faster..."Um well...I have the other four members of the band as a start" I lie.

"They would never do such a thing..." he says shocked.

"I know but I'm gonna try my best to find out who did this to Eleanor Louis...I promise." I tell him truthfully. And it's true, I'm gonna try my hardest to see who did this.

"Fine. I'll make a list and have it in tomorrow." he says getting up.

"Good" I get up and walk to the door opening it.

"One more thing." he says quietly.

"Huh?"

"I like your hair...just the way it is" he says.

I smile at him. Even though I don't like my hair...at least Louis Tomlinson does..or is he lying?

He smiles back and I lead him to the elevator and presses 'one' and walk out onto the hallway waving at him. He waves back and the door closes. I sigh and walk back to the office.

I look up to see someone in a black hoodie running down the hallway. What the fuck? "Hey! What are you doing up here?!" I say walking towards the person. He/she runs by the corner and all I hear are footsteps going down the stairs.

Weird. I walk back in my mom's office closing the door and sit down. I look at the papers and see a yellow sticky note on the back of my mom's name tag. I pick it up and read it.

I'm the killer of Eleanor Calder. Catch me if you can. -R.C.

My heart races as I run to the door opening it and running down the hall to the stairs. I take off my heels and run fast. Son of a bitch, the killer was here! Right here...and I missed him/her. I run down to the parking lot and see no cars in sight.I don't need things, to get any weirder.

Damn. I brush my short blonde hair back and sigh, "I'll catch you!....Bitch!" I yell out angry. This is the beginning on the case of Eleanor Calder. And I'll be the one to solve. I promise.
