My Love Apocalypse
Chapter 6
Alyssa's P.O.V.
Zayn and I were walking, hand in hand, through the woods. He was extremely sweet and kind, I loved it.
We had been walking for quite awhile now, we had only seen a few more zombies. "So Alyssa, you seem pretty cute." Zayn announced.
I blushed a deep red and thanked him. He smiled kindly and added "Your boyfriend is very lucky."
I don't have one. "Um, thanks but I'm single." I replied. He looked shocked but continued walking.
Now it was my turn to compliment him. "Your girlfriend is pretty lucky I guess." I said.
Zayn looked down and responded "I actually don't have a girlfriend."
What does he mean he didn't have one? I have always dreamed of dating him but I knew that wouldn't happen because he was 'madly' in love with Perrie. I guess I didn't hear that they broke up.
Zayn and I weren't paying attention to where we were walking because we ended up walking in front of about 30 zombies. In was at least 5 feet away from one and it was slowly walking towards me. I grabbed my gun that was clipped onto my jeans. I cocked it and quickly fired.
Zayn was having some trouble unclipping the gun from his jeans and zombies were coming towards him. I ran and jumped in front of him. I started shooting at the zombies and they fell down, one by one. Zayn was leaned back and looked really nervous. He was still struggling with the gun but slowly got it off of his pants.
I shot a couple more zombies until there were no more in site. I placed a couple more stones on the ground and followed the trail I had made. As we were walking back to the fort, Zayn and I held hands. His palm was so warm and he was just absolutely wonderful.
Suddenly, Zayn stopped walking and leaned in closer to my face. Just before he did anything else, he whispered "Alyssa, I have wanted to do this ever since I laid eyes on you."
He fastly pressed his lips against mine and started to move them together. I followed along and we kissed for a good 10 seconds. I couldn't breath and pulled back. Zayn looked sad but I took his hand and started to walk again back to the fort.
