Alyssa's P.O.V.
I collected some wood from the side of the room and Liam grabbed a toolbox. I held each piece of wood up while Liam would nail it down. Once we completed the window, I walked over to the couch where Zayn was and snuggled into his chest.

He wrapped one of his muscular arms around my tiny waist and pulled me in closer to him. I looked up at him as he kissed my forehead.

"Alyssa, I love you." Zayn mumbled. He said the 3 words.

"I love you too Zayn." I responded.

We stayed in this position for about 5 minutes until Madi spoke up. "Do you guys want to go into the pool?"

I shook my head no and she looked at me curiously. "Why not?"

"Because if we just had to board up and keep away from zombies, it wouldn't be safe to go swimming where a bunch of zombies are." I answered.

Madi nodded and skipped over to Niall. All of a sudden, Louis took the T.V. remote and turned the television on.

It was still channeled on the news and the reporter had just begun talking.

"Thousands of zombies are now invading Grimmyville, last time there were hundreds but they have multiplied fastly." That's all we had to hear.

We knew it wasn't safe anymore, so we packed all of our belongings and things at the house we could us for survival into bags. Everyone rushed out of the house and started running away from the zombies.

Sorry it's a short chapter, today is the premiere of This Is Us. My mom said she might take me. YAY!
