Past and Present

COLEN’S P.O.V.

I got up and walked away from his room. I sat on the bench outside as I smiled. I still remember his song. Even if Alex is gone, Liam will forever be in my heart.

I fell asleep with this beautiful thought.

LIAM’S P.O.V.

Memories are flying back to me. The change, the car accident, and most important, Colen. I woke up on my hospital bed just when I see her walk out the door. I try to run to her but I’m held down by all these wires.

I unplugged all the wire from my body and unwrapped the bandages. I’m ok now, I need to find Colen.

I stepped down to the ground and almost fell down as I feel all of the energy from my body being drained. I gritted my teeth and kept walking. One foot in front of the other. I turned left and saw her. My beautiful girl, peacefully sleeping on the bench. I took her face in my hands as I traced over her lips before I kissed them gently.

I sat beside her, reigning my energy as her eyelids flutter.

COLEN’S P.O.V.

In my dreams, Liam was there. He took my chin and ran his finger across my bottom lip as he smiled the same innocent smile. He kissed me slow and gentle. The feeling of his soft lips brush against mine.

I opened my eyes smiling.

“Liam!” I gasped when I saw him sitting right beside me. “What are you doing here? Aren’t you suppose to be resting?”

He smiled and wraps his arms around me. I lean into his chest, surprised at the sudden action.

“I’m sorry,” he said.

“For what?”

“For worrying you, and not believing you.” He pulls back and smiles at me.

“Does that mean…” I grinned.

“Yes, my memories are back.” He leaned in and kissed me slowly. His hand cupped my face, my hands tangled in his hair, our lips moving together perfectly. It felt magical.

It’s the first time we’ve kissed.
