Past and Present
Alex? Who's Alex?
"No!! Stop it! Let me go!" I screamed as the grip on my wrist tightens followed by a hand roughly clamping over my mouth.
The men in black said nothing. I struggled and tried to free myself, but there were 4 of them and one of me. Plus, they were all huge and bulky. I was just... me.
One of them leaned his black masked face close to mine. I can see his beady little eyes as I tried to scream. It's starting to become hard to breath with the hand over my mouth and nose. I squeezed my eyes shut, not wanting to see what happened next.
I hear the sound of punches and yells, but I didn't feel any pain. Was I dead already? I felt the hand around my mouth disappears and gasped for air. After choking for a minute, I opened my eyes and looked straight up into the handsome face of danger. I screamed and tried to run away but his hand was firmly around mine. Death grip.
"P-p-please let me go?" I said quietly.
His brown eyes narrowed for a second then turned away. I studied him just in case if I got out here alive, I could report him to the police. He's breathtakingly gorgeous with chocolate brown eyes, a straight nose, and long hair. But his features seem to be glowing with the sense that he's a playboy. Not the kind of guy you would want to have a serious relationship with.
He looked down at his feet. I stood on my tiptoes and looked over his shoulder. That's when I realize he's not the one in the mask. The masked guys are all lying on the ground, defeated.
"This is my girl." The boy spoke in a mocking voice. "Don't even think about touching her again."
The masked ones scrambled off.
I frowned. The way he said that was like we're together or something.
"Hey you," I said.
He turned around. My eyes widened. For a second, his face was oddly familiar. I remember...
"Your... your name?" I choked.
"Alex," He replied with a slight frown, "aren't you gonna say thanks?"
"Oh... I'm sorry, thank you!" I bit my lip, "umm, do I know you?"
" I was in your class in grade 8." He smirked.
Huh, I recall no memory what-so-ever of a boy named Alex in my grade 8 class.... Oh well, it's ok, we were probably acquaintances.
"Oh... Ok... I'm-"
"Colen Holik, Coke for short, right?" He smirked again, lifting an eyebrow.
"Yeah....." I blinked, How could someone remember so much about me when I didn't even know his first name? "Well... I'll see you around! thanks for today!" I start to walk away.
"Hey Coke!"
I turned around.
"Do you remember that nerd called... what's his name again?"
" Liam..." I mumbled quietly. I looked at Alex, a mocking expression spread across his face
"Yeah whatever his name is, you totally owned the dance with him!!" He laughed, but I thought I saw something else in his eyes for a second.
"Uhmm yeah..." I smiled slightly, "see ya!!"
Liam, I thought, the dance...
