I Want to be Loved By You

11

Louis P.O.V.
I watched Maci walk to the back, her hips swaying back and forth, and finally let go of the breath I had been holding.
What was I doing?
Why was I here?
Did this girl really matter so much to me?
The first time I saw her…..she walked in with such confidence. It sounds cliche, and it's the typical thing to say, but she really did look like she owned the place. I was intimidated. She didn't seem even the slightest bit intimidated by me and lads, which is rare. This girl has driven me absolutely insane, and I still don't understand why. When I close my eyes, I only see hers. When I'm alone, I find myself recalling every move she had made, every word her lips had spoken, every time my words made her smile, or every blush that had crept onto her cheeks.
As much as she had opened up to me, the way she hesitates to hug me, or her body language around me tells me she still hesitates to talk to me. I really can't blame her. I made a horrid first impression on her. I was rude, for I was still fuming over Chloe and her drama, and all of a sudden I want her life's story? I shouldn't have done that to her. I should've stayed away. But I just…can't. I needed her like the human body needs a heart. And if that doesn't clear it up for you, then I'll spell it out for you: it was impossible for me to be without her.
But because of this girl, photos were all around the world of the mysterious girl with Louis Tomlinson. The lads noted that my feelings for this girl is obvious. Apparently it was obvious to Chloe as well. Because not too long after, she had left me an email, a freaking email, telling me she couldn't stay in this relationship for she felt that the feelings were too one sided. Kind of ironic, to be frank. I should've felt pained, and upset, maybe even angry with Maci for causing me my relationship. But I only felt the world life off my shoulders, and the first thought in my mind was Maci.
My thoughts were interrupted when the girl who occupied them walked up to me, and grinned at me. "I can't believe you waited," She spoke.
"The night would've been boring anyway, love." I said to her.
Mac just shrugged her shoulders. "So Tomlinson, what do you have up your sleeve tonight? Wait let me guess, you're not going to like it when I compliment Zac Efron, so you're going to make me purchase a bull horn, and confess my undying, burning, undeniable need for you to the entire city. Am I right?" She joked.
I grinned, and looked down at my feet. "Nah. Tonight, I have something planned for us," I grinned proudly. "So, would you mind following me, Cinderella?" I stuck my arm out for her to take, and she curtsied, playing along.
"As you wish, Charming." She giggled. I walked her outside and called my driver.
While we were waiting, I took in her profile. Her long and dark eyelashes fluttered, and I saw that she had freckles splattered on her face. A familiar blush was already creeping onto her face. Her long dark hair was curled today, and fell just under her shoulder blades. I noticed that she was shivering from the cold, so I pulled her small frame into mine. She didn't even seem to notice. She just nuzzled in a little further. I smiled at no one in particular, and sighed out of content.
Maci P.O.V.
Louis had pulled me into him, and I didn't bother trying to protest. I was freezing. How much longer would we be standing out here?
As if the universe had been reading my thoughts, a sleek limo, with tinted windows rolled up, and I thought for a moment that someone was being courteous or taking pity on the freezing kids outside so they were going to give us a ride. But then I realized that it was our ride. I am with Louis Tomlinson after all.
Louis didn't waste any time, and opened the door for me. He ushered me in, and soon we were off.
"Matt, this is Maci," Louis spoke to the man, while grinning widely.
Matt looked in the rear-view mirror and smiled, his face shining with recognition. "Maci, you're much prettier than Lou gave you credit for, if you don't mind my saying," He spoke politely while smiling.
I smiled back, unsure of what to say, and trying to avoid Louis' eyes. His face was bright red, and he was shooting Matt daggers. I was awkward, and Louis caught on so he quickly took over by giving Matt directions. I was internally smiling like an idiot at what had just occurred. I'm not sure why I found this so amazing, and so special, but I loved the way Louis knew my thoughts. He could easily sense my unease.
I watched the blur of color roll past us out the window. I felt Charming's beautiful orbs burn holes through my body, and suddenly became self conscious. But I held my ground, and refused to meet his gaze. After a few more moments of our game of cat and mouse, I heard him release a throaty chuckle, as if he accepted the loss of our mental little game. I smiled at my victory, and because he had once again easily read my thoughts.
The car got quiet after that, and when we finally pulled up to a large building, we came to see the paparazzi were already awaiting our arrival. I understand that it's their job to gather as much information about celebrities as they could, but that fact that these people pried on their lives, and stalked them, and tormented them with questions was sickening. They're vultures. Louis was a normal guy. He has a gift, and is extremely talented. But why does that differ him from other people? Why did he have to hide, and avoid going into public at all costs? I just didn't understand. And I probably never will.
The blazing anger must've been obvious on my face or within my eyes because Louis grabbed my hand, and smiled apologetically. "If you want, we can go elsewhere. I don't want you to be the new target of interest. Unfortunately they," he motioned to the paps, "come with me." he looked down at his lap, and I caressed his hand with my thumb.
"Lou," I spoke quietly. His eyes rose up to meet mine, and my breath got caught in my throat. This man will never cease to take my breath away. I pushed on anyway, searching for my voice. "I'm not going to let them ruin this night. Let's go. Fuck them." I smiled encouragingly, and his eyes lit up.
He brought my hand, still intertwined with his, up to his lips and lightly grazed it. "Cinderella, you truly are the strangest princess I have ever met." I giggled and he finally opened up the door, facing the vultures.
"Thanks, Matt!" I called to our driver. I didn't have time to hear his response because soon all I could hear was the yelling. I squinted from all the bright flashes, and soon noticed three very large men had come to assist us. Louis hugged me close, and I clung to him trying not to imagine how ridiculous I looked. It didn't matter. Every move I made would be made out to be something it wasn't with these guys.
I tried to keep my head down and block out the harsh and very personal questions that were thrown at me, and Louis smiled politely, but he tightened his grip on me, and growled.
When we finally reached the inside of what looked like the lobby of a hotel, the security tried everything they could to keep the paps out. I released a shaky breath. Louis kept his cool, but never let go of me as he guided me towards the elevator.
I spotted two girls, giggling and pointing at us. When they noticed I had caught them, they quickly turned around out of embarrassment. I smiled, and decided to walk over to them.
They were whispering, and I was able to catch a few words.
"Was that Louis?"
"I don't know, but it would explain the paps! Who was the girl with him?"
"I don't know, but she's so pretty!"
"Hello, girls!" I exclaimed.
They turned around, shock registered on their faces.
"H-hi," Stuttered the blonde one.
"I'm Maci. I see you guys are One Direction fans." I motioned to their shirts. They read 'FUTURE MRS. HORAN' on the blonde's, and I smiled when I got to the red-head. It said 'FUTURE MRS. PAYNE'.
The blonde nodded furiously peeking around me, most likely to once again confirm that I was with Lou. I turned around and saw Louis sending me a mental question. I nodded while smiling, and he made his way over to me. I turned back to the girls, and the blonde elbowed the quieter ginger, excitement all over her face.
"What're your names, ladies?" I asked.
"Natalie," the blonde spoke.
"Amber,"the red head said quietly. I smiled. She seemed more nervous than the other. By then Louis had reached us, and placed a hand on the small of my back. I smiled at his familiar scent.
"Louis," I spoke without turning to him, "these are my friends, Natalie and Amber. Girls, I'm pretty sure you know who this is," I smiled.
Natalie was trying to contain her excitement, and was fidgeting like crazy. Amber kept her eyes on me, but her green irises moved back and forth between Louis' hand and where it laid.
"Do you girls want a picture?" Louis finally spoke up.
They nodded, and I motioned for one of them to hand over they phone. Amber handed me hers, and I took a few shots of them, and then quickly returned to my spot next to Charming. Amber walked up to me and nervously met my eyes. "Um, Maci, would you, uh, mind if we took a picture with you too?" I furrowed my brows in confusion, and looked up at Lou. He nudged me to go on.
"Oh. Yeah ok," I said to her. They handed Louis the camera, and I got down on my knees in between them. I smiled for the pictures, and then jumped up once they were taken.
"Thank you so much!" Natalie squealed. Amber just smiled brightly, which I gladly returned, and we walked back over to the elevator. Louis said nothing, but was grinning up until we had reached our floor.
We walked up to a room, and I reached for the handle, but Louis stopped me. "Close your eyes," he commanded.
"What?" I asked confused.
"You signed up for this, you're going to close your eyes." He said.
I rolled my eyes before closing them and muttered, "Always the dictator." He chuckled, and I heard the door unlock.
He placed his hand in my hand guiding me through the doorway, and I oh so graciously stumbled almost falling on my face. Louis caught me with strong arms before I face planted, and laughed loudly.
"You really are clumsy. I can tell already."
I smiled and spoke quietly, "Always have been, always will." I was led a little farther into the room, when suddenly he told me to open my eyes. I opened them and saw just a normal hotel room. Two beds, a TV, a bathroom, all that good stuff. I looked at him for an explanation, and then jumped just about ten feet into the air when I heard people scream, "SURPRISE!!" And out jumped the rest of One Direction, and Sam. I smiled an earsplitting grin, and ran to hug my best friend.
"Happy birthday, lovely." She said.
"Sam, it's not my birthday until next Tuesday. You should know this! We've been friends forever!" I said disapprovingly.
"I know, stupid. Jesus. You doubt me way too much. The boys wanted to do something now since there is something else going on that night," she winked. And her gaze shifted over to Louis. I turned around and tried to look at him, but I was already getting engulfed by large arms.
"Maci! I feel as if it's been forever!" said a thick irish accent. I smiled and hugged him back.
"Ni, it's been two days." I chuckled. He released me and smiled once more before making his way over to Sam and planting a wet one on her cheek.
My eyes were so wide they could've popped out of their sockets, and I was stuttering with confusion. "But..how..what..why..when..WHAT?" But Sam was too caught up in Niall.
Someone laughed behind me, and I turned to face Liam. "They've been going out since after the concert. He takes her out every chance he gets. But you wouldn't know that would you, Maci? Since you've been disappearing yourself. Yeah, Sam told us about your little late night encounter." He winked.
I blushed madly, much to my protest, but punched him anyway. "Oh shut up and come give me a hug." I grinned. He laughed and hugged me. It was interrupted, however, by a deep voice.
"Liam, quit hogging her." Liam released me, and I turned to face Harry.
"Ah, so if it isn't Mr. Biceps," I winked. I smiled at the same time remembering his big scene when we first met. He grinned devilishly, and crushed me against his hard chest. I cleared me throat. "Um, Harry? You're, uh, kind of suffocating me. Wouldn't want me to die only days before my birthday, now would we?" He chuckled, and let me go. When I turned to go find Lou, he smacked my bum! That little-
"Maci!" I froze. I hadn't heard that voice in years, except for over the phone. I didn't want to turn around, in fear of it all being a wild act of my imagination. But I had to.
"Quinn?"

Yeah. Unfortunately, the last time I heard from Miss M was six days ago. And it was very hurried and not as careful as she usually types. I'm not sure how long it's going to be, sadly. But, here we are, waiting till the end
