Chapter 4
*Greta's POV* After Madi and I showered and got dressed, we went downstairs to meet with the guys. They were all facing the same direction, so I climbed on Liam's back. "Well hey there!" He said with a laugh. I jumped off. "We all ready to go?" Harry chimed in. We all nodded I'm agreement.
We wanted to take one car. So we a had to squeeze in. Zayn drove with Harry next to him. Then there was Liam on behind Zayn with me on his lap. Niall in the middle, Louis next to Niall and Madi on Louis' lap. I could tell that Madi was quite happy.. But I don't think Harry was too happy about it.
Once we got to the mall, we all kinda stood at the front doors waiting for someone to say where to go. I looked at Madi, but she was just off in her own little land. Haha.. Classic Madi.
"How about we go and custom make some hats?" I suggested. "Let's do ittttt!" Madi said skipping to the hat store. She linked my arm and took me with her.
*Niall's POV*
The way Greta was just so happy Nd positive was the most attractive thing ever. She was just perfect. I am going to make her my girlfriend, and no one is going to stop me.
Once we got to the hat store, Greta and Liam were inseparable. The way they were looking at each other made my heart sink. Do they like each other? Have they always had feelings for each other? All these questions are rolling through my head!
*Madi's POV*
This was the best idea ever! Thanks Greta... You are one smart cookie. I was trying to put this cool M on the front of my hat, but I was strong enough to do it. "Ugh!" I felt these arms come around me. "Here, let me help you." I looked up to see Louis helping me with my M. "Thanks.." I smiled. "Yeah, anytime." Oh my heavens.. His cologne was simply amazing. This was the best day ever.
After about 4 hours of shopping, we went back to the little in to hang out.
*Greta's POV*
We all fell asleep within 20 minutes of getting back to our room. Me and Madi were crashed on her bed while Liam Niall Louis and Harry were on mine. Then there was Zayn, all alone on the floor. It was actually kinda funny.
By the time we all woke up it was 8:30. "Guys wake up, it's 8:30." I said shaking everyone awake. Niall opened his eyes, "I'm hungry, where is some food?" We all burst out laughing. "No really. I want food. Like now." I smirked at Niall, "I'll order Chinese." He got the biggest smile on his face.
Louis jumped off the bed. "Well while we wait for the food, why don't we play a game or something?" "We never did finish our game of truth or dare!" Madi said with an evil look. "I'm in." I peeped.
We all sat in a circle and started the game. I say next to Liam and Madi. Then there was Niall across from me.
"I'll start!" Louis said waving his hand. "Madi, truth or dare." "Umm, dare!" "Alright... I dare you.. To go on a date with me." Madi froze. I elbowed her. "Okay deal!" They both started blush. "I'll go." Zayn said. "Harry truth or dare?" "Dare." He answered really confident. "I dare you to sit on Madi's lap for the rest of the night. Madi turned red as a tomato. "Easy enough." Harry stood up and say on Madi. He looked up at her,"Hello love." We all started laughing. That was until a huge storm came out of nowhere. I heard the lightning strike and jumped into Liam's lap. He put his arm around me and held me tight.
"My turn." Niall said with a angry tone. "Greta, truth or dare?" "Haha.. Um, truth!" He smirked. "Do you like Liam? Or have you ever had feelings for him??" I was shocked. I could not believe Niall would even touch a subject like that.
"Well actually, I liked Liam ever since the day we met. But that stopped the day he left for the X factor." "WHAT?" Liam shouted! "Something wrong?" I asked. "There is no way you liked me!" "Excuse me! I liked you for YEARS! But all you did was tell me about your stupid girl problems. But deep inside I was aching wishing I was the girl you were talking about." "You must be joking. You know that I would never have feeling like that for you." I had tears rolling down my face now. "EXACTLY!! That is why I never told you! I knew that you would think it was funny or a joke or something! Do you remember when I asked you to the school dance that one year? And you laughed saying,'good one!' Yeah, I Remember that too. I remember going home crying myself to sleep knowing that you were never going to be there the way I wanted you to." "Be there the way you wanted me to!? Do you even remember when your brother almost died in his car accident? Who was there for you during that!? Or how about when your other brother actually DID die!?!! WHO WAS THERE FOR YOU THEN!? I have always been there for you! You have no right to say that!!" After he said that, I couldn't take it anymore, I was already sobbing. "I hate you Liam James Payne! Do you hear me!? I HATE YOU! YOU BROKE MY HEART! And ruined our friendship. Consider us, no longer friends!!" I ran out the door and into the rain. Not knowing where I was going and not caring about anything.
*Niall's POV*
I can not believe what just happened. I ruined a lifelong friendship. Liam turns to me, "You better hope that she comes back and isn't hurt. Because this... is all YOUR fault!" And just like that, everyone was gone. Madi, Louis and Harry went looking for Greta. And Zayn was trying to calm Liam down. Because after about 10 seconds of Greta running out, Liam burst into tears. I screwed up. I REALLY screwed up.
