What The Future Holds
Chapter 2
*Greta's POV*
I looked over at Madi wondering who would be knocking at our door. Madi whispers, "Do you think it is.." I cut her off. "There is only one way to find out. I opened the door to find 5 very attractive boys. "Hello! We're One Direction!" The curly haired one said as they all waved. I turned around and looked at Madi. She gave me the look of, "What are you doing? LET THEM IN!" I turned back to the door. "Would you guys like to come in?" I asked. "We would be delighted." The blonde, blue eyed one said with the sweetest smile. I went and sat on Madi's bed while Harry, Liam, Niall and Louis sat in my bed and Zayne sat in the desk chair.
At first it was really awkward. None of them were really talking. They were just starting at us and our room. Next thing I know, Liam is holding up my Toy Story blanket that he gave me for my birthday a couple of years ago. "Ah. How cute! Where did you get this sweet little thing?" He asked with a smirk. I glanced at Madi and then back at the guys. "Haha... Well actually my best friend gave it to me back home. He was my next door neighbor and best friend my entire life." "Oh, so it was a boy that gave it to you?" Louis asked. "Yeah. He is the sweetest kid ever. I love him with all my heart." At that point, Liam was completely blushing. And he knew I was doing that on purpose. Even though I meant every single word of it. "So where are you ladies from?" Niall asked breaking the awkward silence. "Well we are actually from Wolverhampton." Madi answered with a giggle. I couldn't help but join in. "Oh really? Liam is from Wolverhampton!" Harry proclaimed. I couldn't take it any longer, it was too funny. I had to put an end to the joke... but with a cherry on top. "That is so cool! I wonder if we ever ran into each other." I said standing up off of Madi's bed. I walked over to Liam and just sat on his lap. To top it off I gave Liam the biggest kiss on the cheek. Everyone was in shock, especially Liam. I looked over at Madi and we broke out laughing. I laughed so hard that I fell on face first on the floor. Liam soon joined in figuring out that it was a simple joke.
"Alright, what is going on?!" Harry yelled. I turned to Liam. "I knew you weren't going to tell them." "Well I wanted them to score you fairly!" "Well you could have told them after!" Madi said entering the conversation. Liam spoke up. "Okay! Greta, Madi, I am sorry I didn't tell the guys." he took a pause. "Guys, this is Greta and Madi... they are the girls I was telling you about." Niall's eyes got really big. As did Louis' and Harry's. Zayne wasn't really paying attention. I think he was texting someone. Niall punched Liam on his arm. "Wow! What was that for?" Liam screamed. "That was for not telling me that these were the girls you were talking about."
I looked at Madi and she was trying not to laugh. She just loves it when Liam is caught off guard or hurt.
Madi finally spoke up. "Sooo... do you guys know who the back up dancers are gonna be??" They all looked at each other and shook their heads no. "Wait.. which one of you is Greta?" "That would be me." I peeped. "Oh.. alright. Liam talks about you a lot." Zayne stated. My eyes got really wide and I think I started to blush. "Well I hope that they are all good things." I laughed. Madi grabbed her phone and looked at the time. It was 11. "ALRIGHT! It is 11 o'clock and I am not asleep. That is a BIG and I mean big problem." She said with a very angry tone. "You guys better go before Madi slaps one of you." I said laughing. Madi chucked a pillow at my head and it almost made me fall over. So I grabbed it and threw it back, knocking her off her bed. All the boys said goodnight and left. As Liam walked out the door, he whispered,"Text me" and winked. If I didn't know better.. he was flirting with me. Nahhhh we're just friends.
*Liam's POV*
As I lay in bed trying to fall asleep, I can't help but think about all the things Greta said about me when she was explaining the blanket. Was she just trying to catch me off guard, or was she being serious? Ugh.. I don't know. But I do know that if anyone finds out that I really do like her.. I think that our friendship will be over.
the next morning
*Madi's POV*
I wake up to the pounding of our door. "Greta, someones at the door." I whispered. No answer. They kept pounding. "Greeeeta, someones at the door." I said with a louder tone. Still no answer. "GRETA!!! SOMEONES AT THE DOOR!!!" I screamed. "I SWEAR! IF I HEAR YOU CALL MY NAME ONE MORE TIME, YOU WON'T LIVE TO SEE TOMORROW!! NOW YOU GET UP AND GET THE DOOR." She yelled at me and then fell back on her pillow. Ugh... no I have to get up and walk. Well isn't this great.
I opened the door to find Louis and Niall. "Hello love." he said with his cute smile. "Hi there!" "What was with all that screaming?" asked Niall. "Haha. You don't want to know." I laughed. "Okay. Well we have the day off and were wondering if you guys wanted to hang out with us?" Louis asked. "We would love too! Let us-" I was cut off by Greta walking to the door in her spanikes and sports bra. "Madi, who is at the- AH!!" She realized that is was Louis and Niall, so she ran and hid under her blankets. Niall and Louis couldn't stop laughing! "HAHA! Sorry about her. But yeah, we would love to spend the day with you guys. How about we meet you guys at Nandos in an hour?" "Sounds great." they both smiled and left.
*Greta's POV*
"Madi! I can not believe they saw me like that! How embarrassing!!" I cried into her arms. "It's okay! Just get ready, we are meeting the guy at Nandos in 1 hour!" I immediately knew what I was going to wear. http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/app The hour had past and we got a cab over to Nando's. Once we got there, the boys were already ordering their drinks. I ran and told the waitress I wanted a Dr. Pepper. Then Madi and I sat down. I was next to Liam and Harry, and Madi was by Louis and Niall. "Wow. You guys look amazing." Harry said with a flirty smile. "Aw. Thanks." I replied. We all ordered and ate our food. Once we finished, Madi and I grabbed out our wallets to pay for our meal. "Nonsense! You two beauts will not be paying." He demanded that we put our wallets away. "Thanks guys." We both said in unison. "We are going to use the restroom before we leave. We'll be right back." I said as we got up.
*Niall's POV*
"Niall... do you like Greta?" Harry asked me. All I did was stare at me food. "Niall.." I nodded my head. "Then make a move!" Louis insisted. But I could tell that Liam was kinda angry. "Guys, I honestly don't think that she would like me." "Hey, you'll never know until you try." Zayn said patting me on the back. "Liam?" I asked. "If you hurt her in any way possible, you won't live to see the next day." Everyone laughed except for me and Liam because we both knew that he wasn't kidding. Well.. who knows. Maybe she does like me.
*Greta's POV*
After the meal at Nandos, all seven of us went back to our room. "So guys what should we do?" Madi asked everyone. But we all sat there in silence hoping someone would speak up. "How about dare!" Liam finally answered. "Isn't it called Truth or Dare?" Zayne corrected. "No Zayne. It is like Truth or Dare. It just doesn't have the truths." We all looked at each other and agreed that that is what we were going to do. We all sat in a circle on the floor by the beds. "Alright. Liam, you first." I said. "K go!" he answered with a smile. "Umm... I dare you to take off your shirt and run up and down the stairs." Everyone looked at me with disappointment. "Im sorry! Im not good at this game!" We all laughed and then went out in the hall to watch Liam do his dare. "Goodie. Um... Madi!" Liam said with a smirk. She turned to face him. "I dare you to kiss Harry." Madi looked at me with that "What am I going to do!" Face. I know that she doesn't like Harry... because she likes Louis! Madi was about to kiss Harry, but then Louis got in the way and ended up kissing Madi! "Sorry love. Couldn't let you do that." He said with a wink.
"Okay.. Zayne! I dare you to sit on your hands for one straight hour." He chuckled. "Please, that's all you've got?" "Just wait..." She said with a devious tone. "Well then. I dare Niall to kiss Greta." Niall looked up with a worried face. "Oh come on! It's just a game Niall." I said as i grabbed his shirt and pulled him in for a kiss. After we both pushed away, we just looked at each other and smiled. That kiss wasn't what I was expecting.
