Kaitlin's pov.I slammed down the head of my alarm clock.
I layed in bed looking at the ceiling for a few seconds until I decided to get up.

And waited outside for mark to show up.
"Hey!" He shouted skating down the sidewalk.
I gave him a genuine smile.
And we started our walk to school.

"Excited for prom?" He asked taking my hand.
"Umm sure, not really my kind of thing tho" I admitted.
"Yeah, it'll be fun though" he said squeezing my hand.
Doubt that.

The day seemed to go by quick.
Typical, the day I want it to drag on.

"Pink you up at 6:30?" Mark said kissing the top of my head. I nodded.
We said our goodbyes and I went upstairs.
"I should get ready now..."
"Kaitlin rubys here!" My mom yelled.
Why....?
I opened my door and she was a.ready standing there.
Smile on her face and her dress a d stuff in her hands.
"I thought we could get ready together!" She exclaimed obviously excited.
I shrugged and let her in.

We did each other makeup and nails and things like that. It was kind of fun.

By the time we where done it was 6:00
"Get ready in here ill go into the bathroom" she said grabbing her dress and accessories and going into the bathroom.

I stood in the mirror looking myself up and down.

I let out a sigh,
"Quit it you look beautiful" ruby said scaring the shit out of me.
We stood in the mirror together.

I was blinded by a flash,
"You two look perfect! Let me get a few pictures!" My mom yelled snapping shots at us.
I rolled my eyes, but soon enough it was a photo shoot.

But the doorbell rang.
"Probably your dates! Ill get it but come down I want more pictures!" Mm said rushing for the door.
I let out a groan and we followed hr downstairs,
Mark and Niall where at the door.
"Wow" Niall said reaching for Ruby.
She ran into his arms, mom got a few pictures of that.
"You look beautiful" mark said. And I slowly approached him. He gave me a kiss on the lips.
"Hold that" mom said snapping pictures.

After a few more minutes of photos I decided we where done.
"No more photos mom! Where leaving!" I called opening the door, and being followed by everyone else.

Mark opened the passenger door to his car we got in.
Ruby and Niall followed us to the school.

Everyone was piling into the school. The dance was in the gym. It was pretty big.
"Lot of people" I mumbled.
"Yeah stay close" mark said gabbing ahold of my hand.
We walked inside the dance and looked around.
Nothing really special. Balloons (purple and black theme) tables, lights, typical prom.
"Lets get a table with Niall and ruby" I said walking over to them.
They where in mid conversation.
But when they saw us they shut up.
We all sat down and talked. Everyone was just getting here so Everyone was piling in.

We've been siting down talking for almost an hour. But I didn't mind. Dancing wasn't my thing.
I haven't seen Harry anywhere. Wait? Was I looking for him?
UGHHH.
"Wanna dance" mark whispered in my ear.
"Why not" I muttered and we got up and moved to the dance floor.
The song 'loved you for a thousand years' by Katrina perry was on.
Hu placed his hands on my hips. It made me hesitate.
I placed my hands on his neck,
But then the song was cut, and the DJ now had the microphone.
"Sorry about that guys, but I have a Harry styles here who'd like to sing a song"
