Beers Ago
"Ugh can you believe summer is almost over! I'm so not ready for school again." Maddie whined.
Currently it was Sophie, Maddie, Ryan and I in the hot tub, along with Owen, another guy on the football team.
"Yeah I'm really not looking forward to seeing Ethan everyday at school either" I whined.
"Wait, you didn't hear? He transferred to Santa Monica so he could play football!" Owen told me.
"You're kidding! This is great!" I laughed. Finally he could be out of my life once and for all.
"Nope! He still hates that Harry kid though, when we play them in football, all hell will break loose!" Owen chuckled.
"Speaking of Harry, I invited him but I don't think he's going to come" I said noticing he wasn't there.
"Ooooh Harry!" Sophie nudged me. "Aubrey you like him!"
"Sophie no! He's just a friend and I want to make him feel welcomed! He hasn't had a great first week here..."
"Hey Harry!" Ryan said as he hopped out of the hot tub and fist bumped him. He must've just got here, but I was glad he decided to come. "I'm gonna go grab another beer, who wants one?" We all said 'me' almost in unison.
"Hey Harry! Come in!" Maddie said.
"Alright" he said as he slowly pulled off his shirt and took his phone, keys and wallet out of his pocket. I think us three girls had our eyes glued on his chiseled torso. I forced myself to stop staring as he lowered himself in the water next to me.
"What's up, Harry?" Owen asked.
"Not much" he said shyly. He probably felt a bit intimidated. The guys on the football team weren't the most welcoming to Harry this week because Ethan obviously made them treat him poorly. But now that Ethan's gone, they're actually nice to him, thankfully.
"Here ya go" Ryan said as he handed us all a new bottle of beer.
"Oh, I'm good" Harry said as Ryan handed him one.
"C'mon Harry! Have some fun!" Sophie pressured him, and she was successful. He gave in, grabbed the beer and twisted the top off.
A few hours and cases of beers later, we were all pretty hammered and just enjoying this perfect summer night. Harry was still a little shy, and I just really wanted him to have fun, but he kept quiet and only added in on the conversation when someone asked him something.
"Hey Aubrey, thanks for having me over but I should probably go"
"You are not driving! Harry, stay! You can crash in one of the guest rooms or something, they're all staying too." I tried to convince him. Mostly because he shouldn't be driving with all of the alcohol in his system, but partly because I really wanted him to stay. I really wanted Harry to feel like we were his friends and that he could let loose. He just seemed so awkward the whole night.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah! C'mon stay!" I begged.
"Alright, I guess I'll have another beer then" he smiled and grabbed two bottles out of the fridge, handing me one.
"Yay!" I cheered.

"Oh my gosh! Can we please watch this! I love this movie!" Sophie slurred as she grabbed a DVD from the shelf. We were all now in the basement ready to put in a movie and sleep this alcohol off.
"If you want!" I said without looking at the movie. I was about to fall asleep any second. I grabbed the disc and slid it into the player and turned it on. I walked back over to the couch and sat next to Harry because Sophie and Owen were already cuddled up while Ryan and Maddie were passed out.
"Oh sorry, I didn't know it was the Hunger Games!" I said to Harry once the movie started playing.
"It's okay, it was a good movie anyways" he smiled.

I woke up the next morning to the sound of a camera flashing and Sophie and Maddie trying to conceal their giggles.
I slowly opened my eyes to adjust to the light and realized I had fallen asleep on Harry and his arm was draped over my shoulder.
"You guys are so cute!" Sophie giggled.
"Check your phone!" Maddie added. I pulled out my phone and saw a twitter notification, those bitches tweeted a picture of us!

"Maddie!" I said as I looked at the picture.
"What! You guys look cute!" She winked. "So how was your night?" She raised her eyebrows up and down.
"We didn't hook up!" I whispered. "We just fell asleep!"
"Morning Harry!" Sophie said, I turned around to see him rubbing his eyes.
"Morning ladies" he said tiredly, not knowing what had just happened.
"You and Aubrey looked cozy last night" Maddie smiled and held her phone in front of his face so he could see the picture. I gave her the death glare and my cheeks turned bright red when Harry smiled at the picture.
"I'm sorry Aubrey, I must've fell asleep during the movie" He apologized.
"No don't worry about it!" I giggled, it was cute how he apologized for it. "You're a good pillow" I joked.
"We do look pretty cute" he joked back.

Oh my God I love everything you write! I've read all of your stories and girl, you're AMAZING!
