"So what do you want to watch? Are you feeling a scary movie? RomCom?" I asked Harry as we got to the tv room.

"I'm good with anything" He said as he sat on the couch. I could sense a little nervousness in his tone.
"Oh! Lets watch this! I haven't seen it yet" I said as I held up the Hunger Games.

"Neither have I!" He said. I put the disc in and went to sit on the couch, leaving some space in between Harry and I... I didn't want him to think I was trying to make a move!

"So... Do you have a girlfriend?" I asked. I didn't really think before I said it, I was just trying to break the uncomfortable silence between us. Yes, I realize you are supposed to be quiet during a movie, but it was way too awkward I'm that room.

"Uhh.. No" he took a second to spit out. I wanted to slam my palm to my forehead.

why would you ask him that, Aubrey?"

"Sorry I was just wondering" I awkwardly laughed.

"That's fine. I had one last year, but there just wasn't anything between us"

"Oh I see..."

Thankfully my blabber mouth actually made it less awkward in that room.

"You know, I still can't believe your dad is Austin Flynn.. That's so cool." Harry said.

"I guess" I laughed. "I don't know, it's normal to me!"

"Yeah I suppose"

"My parents are coming home for a couple days in a few weeks, you should meet them!" I said after a few minutes. None of my friends had ever met my parents because I didn't want them to know, but for some reason, I really wanted Harry to meet them.

"I don't know about that..." He said nervously.

"Why not? You can meet Austin Tucker!" I joked.

"Are you sure? I domt know.. What if they don't like me?"

"Are you kidding! You're a quarterback so my dad already loves you and I already know my mom will like you too! C'mon!"

"Okay, fine!" He gave in. While we watched the rest of the movie, I kept thinking about him meeting my parents. I'm sure they'll love him. And it'll be nice having them actually meet one of my friends.

"I should probably get going now" Harry said as he looked at his phone for the time. It was almost one in the morning. "Thanks for tonight, I had fun!" He stood up from the couch.

"Me too! I'll walk you out." We both made our way to the front door.

"Goodnight Aubrey" Harry said as he walked down the steps.

"Oh Harry!" He stopped and turned back to look at me. "I'm having a few people over tomorrow, do you want to come?"

"Umm"

"Don't worry, it's really only like five people, and no Ethan!" I reassured him.

"Yeah, I'll come"

"Great! Come by around 8?"

"Okay, see you tomorrow" he said as he unlocked his car.
