Veronica's Pov: I walk into my house and my parents are there. Great, they look angry. "Veronica, what do you think you're doing?" "Uhh, walking in my house? Why?" "Oh, so you're not telling people fake stories for sympathy." "What?" "A girl came over, a pretty little blonde girl, she wanted to give you a card because she felt bad about your 'abusive' childhood. Where your father beat you and I killed myself." Michelle? She came here? Gosh, I hate her. She's gonna pay for this. "I don't know what you're talking about. She must have made it up." "She seemed sincere. Why? Why, Veronica? For the attention? Is that it? You always were the problem child. How come you couldn't be more like your brother? He's achieving, he's in his last year in college." "I DON'T WANNA HEAR ABOUT HIM!" I screamed. All my life I have been compared with my brother. 'Oh. Veronica, your brother's so smart.' 'Veronica, how come you don't take after your brother?' That's all it is! People want me to be like him! I'm NOT though. Just because he's my brother doesn't mean I'm like him. "Veronica, go to that girl and tell her the truth. She seemed pretty upset." My father suggested. "I hate you guys." I said coldly and I walked out the house.

Kelsey's Pov: I knock on Laura's door and she opens it. She invites me inside and I sit in her living room. It's weird. Laura's actually not that bad of a person. She's kind of actually... cool. Of course I could never go out in public with her, but meeting in her house is fine. "How are you feeling?" She asks. "I'm doing fine. I haven't seen Veronica lately. She's probably out doing her thing, you know." I shrug. Laura's mom comes down stairs. "Oh, Kelsey. I didn't expect you to be here so early. Can I make you anything for breakfast?" "No, I'm fine. Thank you for offering, though." Her mom walks into a different room. "We still need to think of something." Laura says. "I know, but what? How could we publicly humiliate her?" We sit there in silence for a moment. "We could always have Ryan beat her up." I joked. Laura glared at me. "I know, I know. Not funny." I said. "Besides, Ryan got arrested anyway." Laura said. "What? He did? For what?" "I don't know, I think she tried to rob some restaurant or something." There was a knock on the door. "I'll answer it." I said. I walked to the door and saw it was Harry. "Kelsey? What are you doing here?" He asked. "Trying to cheer up the girl you ruined." I answered harshly. "But why do you care? I thought you hated Laura." He questioned. "We've been... settling things between us." I answered. "Is Laura here?" "Duh, it's her house." "Can I speak to her?" "No, I'm afraid not." "Why?" "She's still very upset. You hurt her bad. Now go away, I don't want her to see you, it'll only make things worse." I told him. He turned around and left. I can't have Laura and him together. If Laura knows he doesn't like Veronica, she'll leave me and then I'll have no help with the Veronica situation. I need Laura and I'm not gonna just let Harry steal her away. Besides, he'll probably just hurt her. I walk back in the room. "Who was it?" She asked. "Just a salesman." I said.

Harry's Pov: Yeah, I was gonna go to her house yesterday but I thought maybe I should just go in the morning. Doesn't matter, she'll hate me the same. I didn't know I hurt her that bad. She'll probably never want to see me again. I'm glad her and Kelsey are getting along though, that would be one less person to hurt her. I'm never gonna get over what I did. She was perfect and I just went and screwed everything up. What should I do now? I'm all out of ideas. If she doesn't want to see me there's nothing I can do.

Michelle's Pov: I'm currently at Niall's house. Since Laura doesn't wanna hang out with me and Veronica's a liar, Niall's the only thing I have now. "I can't believe she lied to you like that." He says. "I can't believe I actually believed it. Guess I'm just kind of stupid like that." "You're not stupid." "Yeah? Then why'd I believe her? And a few weeks ago when Kelsey lied to me about Laura, I believed that too! I'm just stupid!" Niall pulled my close to him. There was a knock on the door. Not just a knock though, more like someone banging on the door. Who? Niall gets up and answers it. "What are you doing here?" I heard Niall ask. There was no answer but it sounded like the person pushed him out of the way. They walked towards me and I saw it was Veronica. "Veronica?" I screamed in shock. "Yeah, Harry told me where Niall lived. After I checked your house and you weren't there I figured you were here." "Why did you want to find me? Here to tell me more lies?" I ask. "Oh, no. There's not gonna be much talking. You should've stayed away from my house you little bitch!" She screamed at me. I was scared. Niall came running into the room, but it was to late. Veronica pulled me up and hit me in my face. I was not expecting her to do that at all. She grabbed my hands so I couldn't fight back. She kicked my knees so I fell down and she kicked me.
