Katie's pov



I woke up at 6:30 to get ready for school. School didn't start until 8:00, but my bus came at 7:30. I hopped into the shower.

When I got out I got dressed in floral skinny jeans, a navy blue tank top tucked into my pants, a white crop top, and black and gold adidas'. I then blowdried my wet hair and put in a loose side braid.

When I was done gettimg ready, it was already 7:25. I grabbed my bookbag and walked to my bus stop, which was just around the corner. As soon as I got there the bus came. I got on and sat in my normal seat, which was the 9th row back on the bus drivers side.
We arrived at school and I walked straight over to my group of friends, as usual. We sat there and talked until school started. We were dismissed and I walked down the long hallway to my locker. I took out my book for my first period class and shut my locker.
My first class was history and I sat in the way back. I was already getting an A in that class and it was the end of the year so I just zoned out. I just kinda thought about life until I was interupted.
"Can I-I help-p you?" The voice asked.
"Sorry, what?"
"Y-you were st-staring at m-me."
"Oh, sorry. I was zoned out."
I then realized I was talking to Marcel, the biggest nerd in the school. Scratch that. Biggest loser in the whole town. I quickly looked the other way before anyone saw me. Now I'm not the most popular in my grade but I'm not that low.
When class was over I got up with all my books and started to walk out. I had math next, which I wasn't very good in, so I wasn't very excited to go there next.
I walked in and sat down in my assigned seat.
"Okay, today we will be working in partners." My teacher announced.
I mentally cheered.
"WIll we get to choose our partners?" Someone asked.
"No, I already have them chosen."
I mentally sighed.
"Okay, Here are the pairs. Tiffany and Caleb, Tyler and Courtney, Katie and Marcel, Jordan and Veronica, and Vicky with Robert."
I was stuck with Marcel. This is just great. As you can tell, my math class isn't that big and I hated everyone in that class except Veronica but really? Marcel?
Courtney gave me a weird look with a chuckle. She hates me. She's the bitchest, snobbiest, person I've ever met. And apparently I'm the only one with the balls to tell her that straight to her face. She's been making my afternoon bus rides a living hell for the past 3 years.
Anyways, we had to do a 3 week project. It wasn't an in school project either, so we had to work on it after school. Great.
