We woke up around 3 and got some poptarts and went down to the hospital to check on Jake.
"Hi Jake. How ya feeling?" I asked as soon as I walked in his room.
"Good, I get to go home today."
"Sweet. Wanna hang out before I have to go to my dad's?"
"Yea sure. Wanna get me checked out?"
"Yea, get dressed." I said then left to go to the front desk.
The lady looked at me for a moment before going, "Can I help you?"
"Yea, can I check out Jake vanderwolf?"
"Yea, Sure. He's free to go anytime."
"Thank you." I replied then walked back into his room.
I knocked then walked in.
"You're free to go, c'mon."
"Ok."
We headed back to the lobby and got Kyle and started walking back to my house.
Once we got there it was 4:30 so we decided on playing guitar hero.
I won most of the rounds and then Kyle's mom came and got him.
After he left me and Jake just sat there talking. I tried to get who he liked out of him, but he would'nt give me a straight answer.
The next time I checked the time it was already 8:00. He had to be home so I walked him to the door. Then out of no where I blurted, "I think I love you."
After I had realized what I said I slammed the door. I peeked out the window to see him cross the street and look back with a smile on his face.
